    Cancellation Policy


    If guests must cancel their stay due to a pandemic, the stay can be rebooked to a later date at no charge. This rebooking is not limited in time. If guests have to cancel their stay for any other reason, they have the option of transferring the reservation to someone else free of charge. In case of no show, only the cleaning fee (€150) will be refunded.

    Therefore, there are no rates where cancellations can be made free of charge. If the bookers are forced to cancel, the park may look at a free rebooking, provided they still manage to re-rent the cancelled period.

    No, it's a car-free site. So you cannot drive up to the cabin to load or unload, but at each cabin there is an electric cargo bike that can be used to load and unload all the luggage.

  2. Are bicycles available at the accommodation?

    Next to each cabin there is a bike shed containing an electric cargo bike and two regular bikes.

  3. Are dogs welcome?

    Yes, dogs are welcome.

  4. Do you have to pay for the wellness?

    No, use of the wellness island is free. Guests can book the island every day of their stay for an hour and a half. For this purpose, a booking module will be forwarded on the day of arrival.

    On the wellness island you will find a sauna with panorama window, an outdoor shower with dump bucket, access to the swimming pond, a relaxation area with pizza oven and a water fountain. Special towels are provided in the cabin. You may enter the sauna with or without swimwear.

  5. Are products present in the kitchen?

    Yes, there are coffee beans, tea, oil, salt and pepper, and dishwasher tablets, among others.

  6. Are there any products present in the bathroom?

    Yes, shower gel and shampoo are provided. There is also toilet paper, a hair dryer and bath linens.

  7. Are you allowed to barbecue?

    Yes, and there is a Bastard barbecue at every cabin.

    Cabanes d'Ostende is truly a great location! You'll find all the gadgets you might not have at home : beautiful Le Creuset dinnerware, a Quooker faucet, Sonos sound systems, a Dyson hair dryer.... It's fun to try out all these luxuries! As soon as it's dark, the beautifully lit swimming pond comes to life, and the view from the sauna is just breathtaking. Joeri, the hotel manager, is super jovial and always ready to help. Truly an absolute delight! Definitely highly recommended!

    Cabanes d’Ostende is echt een geweldige locatie! Je vindt hier alle snufjes die je thuis misschien nog niet hebt : prachtig Le Creuset servies, een Quooker kraan, Sonos geluidsystemen, een Dyson haardroger…. Het is leuk om al deze luxe uit te proberen! Zodra het donker is, komt de prachtig verlichte zwemvijver tot leven, en het uitzicht vanuit de sauna is gewoon adembenemend. Joeri, de hotelbaas, is super joviaal en staat altijd klaar om te helpen. Echt een absolute topper! Zeker een aanrader!

    What a gem on the Belgian coast. Enjoyed the beautiful site and outdoor living. Joeri has transformed 'the bakery' into a cozy place to connect people. He is caring for his guests. You won't be short of anything. We ate outside there and Joeri made sure we would not be cold. Definitely highly recommended.

    We really enjoyed our stay. As young parents it was wonderful to be able to take a breather in such a cozy cabin. One small flaw: we arrived in the evening when it was already dark everything was nicely provided and in order, only there was no wood in the cabin yet, which would have been pleasant to be able to light the fire immediately. Or the hot tub, already pre-filled, a tip given the long procedure. And due to technical problem we were twice unable to use the sauna, especially since we were so looking forward to it. Too bad there was no compensation for this. But apart from that: super place, cozy, close to town and beach. We would love to come back again, maybe with kids.

    We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf. Als jonge ouders was het heerlijk om even helemaal op adem te komen in zo’n gezellige cabin. Een klein minpuntje: we kwamen ’s avonds toe terwijl het al donker was alles was mooi voorzien en in orde, enkel was er nog geen hout in de cabine, wat aangenaam had geweest om direct het vuur te kunnen aansteken. Of de hottub, reeds voorvullen, een tipje gezien de lange procedure. En door technisch probleem hebben we twee keer geen gebruik kunnen maken van de sauna, zeker omdat we er zo naar uitkeken. Jammer dat er geen compensatie hiervoor was. Maar los daarvan: superplekje, gezellig, dicht bij de stad en strand. We komen graag nog eens terug, misschien met kids.

    Despite the dreary November weather, we booked a 3-day stay at Les Cabanes d'Ostende. At the parking lot on the stone road we were still a bit skeptical and curious what it would be like. Until we came across the little gate and path between the trees and on the way the fantastic bar/bakery/biblio/mini-shop (underground like in teletubbieland!). And then the door to the luxury chalet had yet to be opened. Wow all top of the line materials and cozy with the fireplace! (For which you must first go and split some wood yourself). The wellness island with pizza oven was also a fantastic experience. Time was short and we promise to come back when the leaves are hanging in the trees. Ps: by bike or on foot Ostend is nearby which is also a nice combo!

    Ondanks het druilerige Novemberweer boekten we toch een 3-daagse bij Les Cabanes d’Ostende. Op de parkeerplaats op de steenweg waren we nog wat sceptisch en nieuwsgierig wat het zou worden. Tot we het hekje van en het padje tss de bomen en onderweg de fantastische bar/bakkerij/biblio/mini-shop (onder de grond zoals in teletubbieland!) tegenkwamen. En dan moest de deur van de luxe-chalet nog geopend worden. Wow allemaal topmaterialen en gezellig met de haard! (Waarvoor je eerst zelf wat hout moet gaan klieven). Ook het wellnesseiland met pizzaoven was een fantastische beleving. De tijd was tekort en we beloven terug te komen als de blaadjes terug ad bomen hangen. Ps: met de fiets of te voet is Oostende vlakbij wat ook een leuke combo is!
