This unique safari tent is fully equipped for the perfect glamping vacation! With its wooden details and roll-up front, you get the real outdoor feeling of camping, with all the comforts of home. The tent is equipped with a cozy porch with awning, for great outdoor entertaining. The safari tent has a fully equipped kitchen with inventory and includes a thermally protected gas stove that can be moved outside. Perfect for cooking outside! There is also a refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. In addition, the safari tent has two sleeping cabins. In one sleeping cabin there is a double bed (140x200 cm) and in the other sleeping cabin there are two bunk beds.

What you should know about the park

Camping de la Vallée, in the Belgian Ardennes, offers a cozy atmosphere and a beautiful environment in Barvaux, right on the river Ourthe. Ideal for families, hikers and cyclists.     Camping ligt op een prachtige locatie aan de rivier en aan een fietspad waarvandaan je zowel links als rechts een leuk dorpje hebt op ongeveer 8 min. fietsen. De plaatsen van 100m2 zijn echt giga. Helaas geen kraantje bij de plekken, dus camperaars moeten met de gieter aan de slag. In de receptie wordt gelukkig NL gesproken maar in het restaurant helaas alleen Frans. Op het veld bij onze plek, een sanitair gebouw met 5 hokjes. Daarin per hokje een wasbak, douche en wc. Niet echt slim want iemand die doucht of poept, houd de ruimte lang bezet. Maar nog erger is dat, 3 van de 5 hokjes op slot zijn. Deze horen bij 3 luxe staplekken (die zijn incl. privat sanitair). Dus 3 mensen blij, wat extra geld voor de verhuur en de rest van het veld ontevreden, niet echt een slimme keuze. Ook de afwasplekken hier, zijn superklein. Naast de spoelbak resteert alleen een randje van 10 cm, dus waar je nou je vuile en schone vaat op moet zetten is een groot raadsel. Dingen ergens opzetten of ophangen is hier helaas een terugkerend thema, wat hieronder nog uitgebreid aan de orde komt. Dan het sanitair bij de receptie, Dat je zelf een toiletrol moet meenemen is tot daar aan toe. Maar zorg dan ook dat je je rol ergens kunt aanhangen of opzetten. Bij de algemene wasbakken hebben de eerste wasbakken alleen ijskoud water (later ontdekte ik dat de laatse 2 wel warm water geven). Dus daarom een hokje met een wasbak gekozen, hier wel warm water. Maar aan de ontwerper van dit hokje (waarschijnlijk dezelfde als die van de toilethokjes) moet wellicht een licht sadistische inslag worden toegeschreven, omdat er totaal geen voorziening is om iets op te zetten of op te hangen. Drama dus. Daarnaast best veel luidruchtige gasten met harde muziek die tegen de avond allemaal houtblokken gaan zitten stoken. Dus heb je COPD, hier niet heengaan. Kortom, 2 sterren voor de sanitaire voorzieningen, etc. en 5 sterren voor de ligging
