Le Chalet Chaleureux B is a cosy, modern chalet in the green hills near Durbuy – perfect if you’re looking for peace, comfort and a touch of adventure. Fully renovated in 2017, this stylish hideaway offers everything you need for a relaxed holiday in the Belgian Ardennes.

The chalet is at the end of a quiet street, surrounded by meadows, so you’ll wake up to birdsong instead of traffic. Inside you’ll find a warm and inviting interior with quality finishes and excellent beds for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, and the well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook your favourite meals after a day outdoors.

Slide open the doors and step onto the large terrace, where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the sun or end the day with a glass of wine. There’s a private garden area and a barbecue for long, lazy evenings outside. With parking space for three cars, you don’t have to worry about where to leave your vehicle.

Le Chalet Chaleureux B is one of two similar chalets standing side by side. You can rent them separately or together if you’re travelling with friends or family. When rented separately, each chalet is completely independent: there’s a clear separation between the terraces and each has its own private part of the garden, so you keep your privacy.

The friendly owners live next door and are happy to share their best local tips. Fancy an active day out? This region is ideal for kayaking on the Ourthe, hiking through the woods or discovering mountain bike trails. In the mood for charm and good food? The romantic town of Durbuy, full of narrow streets and inviting restaurants, is only about 12 km away. On Sundays, head to nearby Bomal-sur-Ourthe, 3 km from the chalet, for its large open-air market.

    Het chalet is een knus toevluchtsoord, prachtig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De keuken maakte het bereiden van maaltijden gemakkelijk en we genoten van de barbecue in de tuin. Het was ook een geweldige plek om nabijgelegen attracties zoals Labyrinths en Durbuy Adventure te verkennen.

    We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in dit chalet! De eigenaren waren erg behulpzaam met tips over bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. De bedden waren comfortabel en de inloopdouche was een fijne extra. Durbuy ligt vlakbij en is ronduit charmant. Ik raad zeker aan om de restaurants daar te bezoeken.

    Een perfect uitje! De omringende weide en de rustige sfeer maakten onze ervaring ontspannend. We waren dol op de barbecuefaciliteiten en brachten avonden door met grillen op het terras. De nabijgelegen wandelpaden in de Belgische Ardennen zijn een must voor buitenliefhebbers.

    Een charmant chalet in een rustige omgeving. Het had alles wat we nodig hadden voor een comfortabel verblijf en de wifi was een fijne bonus. We zaten vlakbij het openbaar vervoer, waardoor we de regio gemakkelijk konden verkennen. Al met al een praktische keuze voor ons familie-uitje.
