Looking for a laid-back hideaway with your group of friends? Ard Zen is a cozy chalet tucked away in a private garden of over 1000 m² – perfect for chilling, catching up and doing absolutely nothing… or a lot, if you want.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious living room with an open kitchen and a big dining table where everyone can cook, eat and hang out together. Above the kitchen there’s a comfy mezzanine lounge corner: an ideal spot for late-night chats, a board game, or a quiet moment with a book.

The chalet has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people, so it’s great for a group of friends or two families travelling together. On the ground floor you’ll find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub – perfect for a relaxed soak after a day outside. The other 2 bedrooms are on the first floor and each has a double tatami bed, which fits perfectly with the zen vibe of the house.

Wellness fans are in the right place here. There’s a sauna for 2 people with its own shower, plus an indoor whirlpool for 5 persons on the terrace. Whether it’s after a long hike or just because you feel like it, you can end every day bubbling away under the stars.

Ard Zen is within walking distance of Noiseux and the river Ourthe, so you can easily head out for a morning walk, a picnic by the water or a relaxed bike ride. The surroundings are made for hiking and cycling, and if you feel like a swim, there’s a public swimming pool about 10 km away. Public transport is also around 10 km, handy if you want to explore the region without using the car.

With its private garden, zen design and all the comfort you need, Ard Zen is a peaceful base to escape the daily rush – yet close enough to nature and small villages to keep every day interesting.

    Nice cottage. Unfortunately some things were broken or not present. Bank must be replaced is sagging. No cushions for the dining room sofas unfortunately and a 2 person sofa with 2 chairs. Too few zitpkaatsen for 8 people. Thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, sauna and fireplace.

    Aardig huisje. Helaas waren een aantal dingen kapot of niet aanwezig. Bank moet wel vervangen worden is doorgezakt. Geen kussens voor de eetkamer banken helaas en een 2 persoons bankje met 2 stoelen. Te weinig zitpkaatsen voor 8 personen. Wel enorm genoten van de jacuzzi, sauna en open haard.

    A nice little house. Unfortunately some things were broken or missing. The sofa is worn out and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately there are no cushions for the dining room benches and also a double bench with two chairs. There is not enough seating for eight people. However, we really enjoyed the whirlpool, sauna and fireplace.

    Ein nettes kleines Haus. Leider waren einige Dinge kaputt oder fehlten. Das Sofa ist durchgesessen und müsste ersetzt werden. Bedauerlicherweise fehlen Kissen für die Esszimmerbänke und auch eine Doppelbank mit zwei Stühlen. Es gibt nicht genügend Sitzplätze für acht Personen. Whirlpool, Sauna und Kamin haben uns aber sehr gut gefallen.

    The cottage was not or very poorly cleaned. Coat racks hang loose, no free outlet to connect floor lamp, very few free sockets, operation stop sinks of kitchen does not work, mold on woodwork, water softener squeaked all the time (had to be refilled with salt), far too few hangers. The inside of the cottage could use some freshening up. I did not use the closet, looked dirty and a weird smell.

    Het huisje was niet of zeer slecht gekuist. Kapstokjes hangen los, geen vrij stopcontact om staande lamp aan te sluiten, zeer weinig vrije stopcontacten, bediening stoppen spoelbakken van keuken werkt niet, schimmel op houtwerk, waterontharder piepte heel de tijd ( moest bijgevuld worden met zout ), veel te weinig kleerhangers. De binnenkant van het huisje mag wel eens opgefrist worden. De kleerkast heb ik niet gebruikt, zag er vies uit en een raar geurtje.

    The cottage was poorly cleaned, if at all. Loose coat hooks, no free socket for a floor lamp, hardly any free sockets, the stopcock on the kitchen sink didn't work, mold on the woodwork, the water softener was constantly beeping (had to be topped up with salt) and there were far too few coat hangers. The interior of the cottage could do with a freshen up. I didn't use the closet; it looked dirty and smelled strange.

    Das Ferienhaus war, wenn überhaupt, nur mangelhaft gereinigt. Lose Kleiderhaken, keine freie Steckdose für eine Stehlampe, kaum freie Steckdosen, der Absperrhahn am Küchenspülbecken funktionierte nicht, Schimmel auf den Holzarbeiten, die Wasserenthärtungsanlage piepte ständig (musste Salz nachgefüllt werden) und es gab viel zu wenige Kleiderbügel. Die Innenräume des Ferienhauses könnten eine Auffrischung vertragen. Ich habe den Kleiderschrank nicht benutzt; er sah schmutzig aus und roch seltsam.

    Het huisje is ruim en schoon, perfect voor onze vriendengroep. We waardeerden de goed uitgeruste keuken en de comfortabele woonkamer. Het was fijn om een sauna te hebben, hoewel we die niet zo vaak gebruikten als we hadden verwacht. De locatie was prima voor het bezoeken van nabijgelegen attracties zoals Durbuy Adventure en Labyrinths, wat leuke dagtochtjes mogelijk maakte. Al met al een goed verblijf zonder noemenswaardige klachten.

    Das Ferienhaus ist geräumig und sauber, perfekt für unsere Freundesgruppe. Wir haben die gut ausgestattete Küche und das gemütliche Wohnzimmer sehr geschätzt. Die Sauna war ein nettes Extra, auch wenn wir sie nicht so oft genutzt haben wie geplant. Die Lage war ideal für Ausflüge zu nahegelegenen Attraktionen wie Durbuy Adventure und den Labyrinthen, die sich für schöne Tagesausflüge eigneten. Insgesamt ein gelungener Aufenthalt ohne größere Beanstandungen.
