General information
Looking for a cosy hideaway where you can relax with a small group of friends, but still bring the kids along? La Ribambelle is a warm wooden holiday home for up to 6 people, designed with both comfort and fun in mind.
Inside, you’ll find three inviting bedrooms with flexible sleeping options: a double bed, two single beds, a bunk bed (perfect for one child), a baby bed, and even a sofa bed for two in the living room. Everyone gets their own comfy spot, whether you’re travelling as a group of friends, two families together, or a couple with kids and grandparents.
The real showstopper is the playful layout. From the children’s bedroom, a slide leads straight down into a dedicated playroom – kids absolutely love this. In the playroom there’s a ball box and various children’s games, plus a special play table with benches where they can draw, play or build while you relax nearby. Even the very youngest guests are taken care of with a baby bed already in the house.
Outside, the fun continues. There’s a terrace where you can start the day with coffee in the sun or end it with a drink and long chats. In the garden you’ll find a ping pong table – ideal for friendly tournaments and lots of laughter. Just a stone’s throw away there’s a playground and a farm with animals, so you don’t have to go far to keep everyone entertained.
Nature lovers are in the right place here. Two rivers, the Somme and the Ourthe, wind through the green landscape around the house, inviting you to go for relaxed walks, picnics by the water or just a quiet moment with a view. The province is dotted with impressive castles, all within easy driving distance and great for a day out together. For your daily groceries or a quick shopping round, the nearest town and general supplies are about 10 km away.
La Ribambelle is an ideal base if you want a laid-back holiday in nature, with space for your group, plenty for kids to do and a relaxed, homely vibe.

A charming, natural wooden vacation home with a cozy atmosphere and lots of play options for children, including a wooden train, Clics and a ball pool. The veranda invites you to linger with comfortable deckchairs and a wonderful view. There are numerous excursion destinations for the whole family nearby, such as the Parc Chlorophylle, the Annevoie water gardens, the Chevetogne nature reserve, the Han/Hotton/Remouchamps caves, the Nisramont reservoir, the Gibier animal park in Saint-Hubert, the Coo waterfalls, the Ninglinspo nature reserve, the Barvoux labyrinth, the Logne castle ruins in Vieuxville and the opportunity to swim in the river at Maboge. The vacation home offers plenty of space with a large sandpit, slide, swing, play equipment, seesaw and table tennis table. The garden is completely fenced and therefore very safe. Red deer and chickens/roosters roam freely around the grounds. The only downside we noticed was that the roosters started crowing loudly every morning around 4:45am....

Very nice cottage in the middle of nature, everything wooden, warm atmosphere, lots to do for children, wooden train track, clics, and ball pit. The porch has lovely relaxing chairs and great views! There are many fun activities nearby to do with your family such as Parc Chlorophylle, water gardens of Annevoie, Domain of Chevetogne, caves of Han /Hotton / Remouchamps, Stuwmeer Nisramont, dierenparc a gibier in saint hubert, waterfalls of Coo, nature reserve with waterfalls Ninglinspo, Labyrinth of Barvoux, Castle ruins Logne in Vieuxville and swimming by the river in Maboge etc etc. At the cottage you have nice space around you, large sandbox, slide, swing, playground equipment, seesaw and table tennis table. The garden is completely fenced so nice and safe. and the red deer and chickens / roosters adjacent to the garden. The only drawback we found was that the roosters start crowing heavily every morning around 4:45 am....
