This unique safaritent is fully equipped for the perfect glamping holiday! Thanks to the wooden details and the roll-up front, you get the real outdoor camping feeling with all the comforts of home. The tent features a cosy veranda with an awning, perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

The safaritent comes with a fully equipped kitchen with inventory and includes a four-burner safety gas stove, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a kettle. The safaritent is also equipped with its own toilet. There are also two sleeping cabins in the tent. One sleeping cabin has a double bed (140x200 cm) and the other sleeping cabin has two bunk beds. All beds come with blankets and pillows.

Dogs are allowed in this tent for an additional fee.

What you should know about the park

Located between two beautiful lakes through which the Gudenå flows, this campsite offers everything for a perect family vacation. Enjoy canoeing on the river, fishing in the lakes or walks along the shores where you can spot deer, goats and cows. For the children we have a heated swimming pool with slides, exciting playgrounds and cuddly goats. Horsens, Vejle, Silkeborg and Aarhus are a short drive away and you can be in LEGOLAND in less than an hour.

    Very clean, nice campground! We had a very nice time! There is a lot to do at the campsite (swimming pool, dartboard (inside), wifi at the central buildings (but also at the tent that still worked reasonably well, if it worked), table tennis, mini golf (a bit outdated), basketball court (with pebbles/gravel), soccer field, boat rental, walk around the campsite, lots of animals (from birds to cattle), 2x a circus) and it is nice and quiet (also lots of empty spaces). Lots of caravans and regular guests. We had chosen/reserved a spot, which was on a very low point of the campsite, and which was rather wet after the rain of recent times. We were still allowed to pick another spot, as there was still plenty free! Once when a regular guest had turned on their music in front of the whole avenue (and we didn't speak Danish and these people didn't understand English or sign language), the campsite management did a neat job, so the peace returned (other guests happy as well). Showers are a bit less nice (on timer (per 6 (or was it 4?) minutes, and pay afterwards with your camping pass when you leave, only the temperature is not adjustable and the jet very weak). Nice that there are 'family' showers where you can shower with two at a time:). At the 'grill' (open until 20:00) you can get good food. In the camp store: ice cream in many flavors, coffee (from a vending machine), sandwich service (order the day before, but if you were patient for 15 minutes they could also bake on the spot) and some basic necessities. There is someone there all day to ask questions, also very convenient! What was a bit inconvenient for us was that all (paper) instructions were in Danish. The explanation on arrival at the campground was very sparse (reception was in English fortunately). All other staff spoke English very well!

    Zeer nette, leuke camping! We hebben een hele leuke tijd gehad! Er is veel te doen op de camping (zwembad, dartbord (binnen), wifi bij de centrale gebouwen (maar ook bij de tent werkte dat nog redelijk, als het werkte), tafeltennistafel, midgetgolf (wat verouderd), basketbalveld (met steentjes/gravel), voetbalveld, boten-verhuur, wandeling rond de camping, heel veel dieren (van vogels tot runderen), 2x een circus) en het is er lekker rustig (ook veel lege plekken). Wel veel caravans en vaste gasten. We hadden een plek gekozen/gereserveerd, die op een erg laag punt van de camping lag, en die na de regen van de afgelopen tijd nogal nat was. We mochten alsnog een andere plek uitzoeken, want er was nog genoeg vrij! Toen een keer een vaste gast hun muziek voor het hele laantje had aangezet (en wij geen Deens spraken en deze mensen geen Engels of gebarentaal begrepen), werd er door de campingleiding keurig wat aan gedaan, zodat de rust weer terugkeerde (andere gasten ook weer blij). Douches zijn wat minder fijn (op tijdklok (per 6 (of was het nou 4?) minuten, en achteraf afrekenen met je camping-pas bij vertrek, alleen de temperatuur is niet instelbaar en de straal erg slapjes). Wel leuk dat er 'familie'-douches zijn waar je met z'n tweeën tegelijk kunt douchen:). Bij de 'grill' (open tot 20:00) kun je prima eten halen. In de kampwinkel: schepijs in een heleboel smaken, koffie (uit een automaat), broodjesservice (dag vantevoren bestellen, maar als je 15 minuten geduld had kon er ter plekke ook nog afgebakken worden) en enkele eerste levensbehoeften. Er is de hele dag iemand aanwezig om vragen te stellen, ook heel handig! Wat voor ons wel wat lastig was, was dat alle (papieren) instructies in het Deens waren. De uitleg bij aankomst bij de camping was erg karig (ontvangst was wel in het Engels gelukkig). Al het personeel spreekt verder prima Engels!
