Beautiful little spot in the mountains, really good for families. The area is very quiet, great for walks, cycling and switching off.

Kleine, rustige camping met brandschoon sanitair en vriendelijke camping eigenaren. Helaas zijn de mooiste plekken gereserveerd voor caravans en grotere vouwwagens. Ondanks dat wij ruim van tevoren een plaats voor onze tent hadden geboekt, kwamen we terecht op een hobbelig veld met nauwelijks schaduw. Na alle lovende recensies over de ruime plaatsen viel dat tegen.

Na een zoektocht op internet kwam ik bij la Chabanne uit. De camping sprak ons gelijk aan, mooie omgeving, klein, ruime plaatsen, rust maar wel een restaurant en een zwembad. Samen met onze twee kinderen van 9 en 5 jaar zijn we daar met onze tent 15 nachten geweest. De camping was precies wat we in gedachte hadden. Echt een mooie berg omgeving, ruime plaatsen met veel privacy. Rustige en fijne sfeer op de camping. Sanitair netjes en schoon. De kinderen hebben zich goed vermaakt met de andere kinderen op de camping en het zwembad. Daarnaast zijn Niké en Geertjan erg gastvrij net zo als hun twee vaste personeelsleden. Het eten in het restaurant is goed en met name varken aan het spit is aan te raden! Nogmaals complimenten voor Niké en Geertjan hoe ze het allemaal samen doen. We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad!

Nikè en Geert-Jan zijn de trotse en gastvrije eigenaren van de mooie en rustig gelegen camping Domaine la Chabanne, op hoogte in de Franse Auvergne. We voelden ons er direct welkom. De ruime plaatsen, nieuw sanitair met warme douches, maar vooral natuur was wat we dit jaar zochten. Elke ochtend is er vers gebakken brood en in de avond kun je genieten op het terras, van heerlijk vers bereide gerechten. Op woensdag was er een buiten buffet met ham aan het spit en aansluitend een gezellig kampvuur met marshmallows voor de kinderen. Het -indien nodig-overdekte zwembad met ligstoelen en parasols heeft een mooi uitzicht op de vallei. Al met al een top ervaring die vanuit Nederland met een elektrische auto prima bereikbaar is.
