    Living in the region, I chose Huttopia Royat for a little getaway close to home, and I loved it. The setting is calm, green and a real change of scenery. The welcome is top-notch, and Audrey, the manager, was absolutely brilliant: warm, available and very professional. A perfect place to recharge your batteries without having to go far. I highly recommend it!

    The campsite is very well located and surrounded by nature, ideal to enjoy the environment and make several hiking trails from there. If you go by motorhome, keep in mind that, when you are about 800 meters from the campsite, there is a no trespassing sign for AC that forces you to make a small detour to get there. It's not a big deal, but it's good to know. As for mobile coverage, it's pretty bad: the signal comes and goes and the connection is very slow, so it's best to plan ahead. As far as I understand, they have wifi, although in my case they did not offer it. To go to the city center you have the possibility of Uber (between 20 to 40 €), cabs, bus making connections or walking about 50 min downhill from the campsite, and a steep climb for the return.

    El camping está muy bien ubicado y rodeado de naturaleza, ideal para disfrutar del entorno y realizar varias rutas de senderismo desde allí. Si vas en autocaravana, ten en cuenta que, cuando estás a unos 800 metros del camping, hay una señal de prohibido el paso para AC que te obliga a dar un pequeño rodeo para llegar. No es gran cosa, pero conviene saberlo. En cuanto a la cobertura móvil, es bastante mala: la señal va y viene y la conexión es muy lenta, así que lo mejor es llevar todo planificado de antemano. Según tengo entendido, disponen de wifi, aunque en mi caso no me lo ofrecieron. Para ir al centro de la ciudad tienes la posibilidad de Uber ( entre 20 a 40 €), taxis, autobús haciendo enlaces o andando unos 50 min cuesta a bajo desde el camping, y una subida bien pronunciada para la vuelta.
