Visit Étretat
Étretat, located on the Norman coast of France, is known for its impressive chalk cliffs and natural arches such as the Falaise d’Aval and the Aiguille. Here you can enjoy beautiful walks along the cliffs, with panoramic views over the sea and land. Visit the charming gardens of Les Jardins d’Étretat or explore the caves at low tide. In the village itself, you'll find cozy cafés, art galleries, and local markets. For those interested in history, there is the small museum dedicated to writer Maurice Leblanc, creator of Arsène Lupin. End your day with fresh seafood on the beach while the sun slowly sets. Étretat is perfect for nature lovers, hikers, and romantic travelers.

Day trip to Dieppe
Dieppe, a vibrant port city on the Normandy coast, combines history, culture, and beach. Stroll along the long boulevard, visit the pebble beach, or explore the impressive Dieppe castle with a museum full of maritime art and ivory carvings. The city has a charming old town with cozy terraces, markets, and seafood restaurants. In the harbor, you can buy fresh fish or take a boat trip. For history enthusiasts, there is the Canada Museum, which commemorates the 1942 landing. Nature lovers can walk along the cliffs or visit the nearby Bois des Moutiers. Dieppe is also known for its annual kite festival and warm atmosphere. A lovely destination for a mix of relaxation, culture, and coastal adventure.
Hiking around Yport
Near Yport, a charming fishing village on the Normandy Alabaster Coast, you can enjoy beautiful walks along rugged cliffs and peaceful forest paths. The Sentier des Douaniers (GR21) offers breathtaking views of the chalk cliffs and the ocean, with hiking routes towards Étretat or Fécamp. Along the way, you'll pass picturesque bays, fishermen's cottages, and expansive meadows. The Forêt de Bréauté, a bit further inland, is also a lovely place for a shady forest walk. In Fécamp, you can combine the route with a visit to the Palais Bénédictine or a stroll through the harbor. For those who enjoy tranquility, the quiet trails above Yport itself are perfect for enjoying sea views, fresh air, and the sounds of nature. Ideal for nature lovers and hikers.
Discover Veules-les-Roses
Veules-les-Roses, one of the most beautiful villages in Normandy, offers enchanting walking opportunities along the sea, cliffs, and through the charming village itself. Follow the path along the chalk cliffs for impressive views over the Alabaster Coast and the rugged ocean. In the village, the Veules, the shortest river in France, flows past old mills, vegetable gardens, and half-timbered houses – an idyllic route for walking and daydreaming. The seaside promenade is perfect for a peaceful stroll at sunset. From the village, walking trails lead you up the cliffs through green valleys, with expansive views over the coastline. The combination of nature, flowers, and history makes Veules-les-Roses a delightful place to discover on foot, whether for short walks or longer hikes in the area.
