Famous for its rich heritage, the absolute highlight of the city is the magnificent Pont Valentré, an iconic 14th-century fortified bridge with three impressive stone towers. After wandering through the charming, narrow cobblestone streets and discovering the Secret Gardens hidden throughout the town, visitors can dive into the region's famous culinary scene. Cahors is celebrated worldwide for its deep, robust "Black Wine," making it the perfect destination for an afternoon of wine tasting at a local vineyard or enjoying a traditional lunch at a lively market.

Paddle along the peaceful local rivers

The beautiful natural landscapes of the Lot and Dordogne valleys offer incredible opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. One of the best ways to experience the region's unspoiled beauty is by renting a canoe or kayak and gently floating down the winding local rivers. Paddling through these gentle currents allows you to marvel at dramatic limestone cliffs, lush green forests, and picturesque hilltop villages from a completely unique perspective. Along the way, there are plenty of peaceful pebble beaches perfectly suited for a refreshing swim or a relaxed afternoon picnic. Whether you choose a short route or a full-day adventure, a day on the water is an absolute must.

We have booked from June 19 to 22, 2025. It is with delay that I come to give my opinion. What can I say except that the welcome was warm - the meals were copious and varied and your cakes more than delicious. I would definitely come back for the calm and serenity of your place. I don't have any photos different from yours. We have excellent memories and look forward to celebrating our next anniversary with you. Jacky and Christiane

Great fun camping.... Dear owners (son and daughter-in-law😅😘) fine 14 days had great weather for us.... 30° is too hot for us so just right Cozy clean chalet... Delicious table d'hotes.... Beautiful, delicious and varied... 😀 Nice trips made, to a castle, markets, nice villages, terraces. Walking with our dogs... Cycling is a bit less but can be done 😀😊😁 Too bad we had to drive almost 1000 km.

We came in a converted van and were warmly welcomed. We were able to enjoy all the activities (games for children, pony rides in the countryside). Great meals and breakfast, all homemade. The location is great, with a superb unobstructed view. We'll be back on our next trip to the Lot. Thank you

Merci
