Marseille is about a 40-minute drive from the campsite and makes a perfect addition to your stay in Aix. The city is full of energy and combines historic charm with modern art and Mediterranean flair. Stroll through the old harbor, Vieux-Port, discover the Le Panier district with its colorful alleys, and climb the Notre-Dame de la Garde for panoramic views. For those who love nature, book a boat trip to the Calanques of Cassis – impressive rock formations and hidden coves. Or visit the MuCEM, the well-known museum for European and Mediterranean cultures. Thanks to good train and bus connections, Marseille is also easily accessible without a car. Ideal for a varied day out.

The Luberon is known for its picturesque, hilltop villages, just 25–30 km from the campsite. For example, visit Lourmarin, which is justly considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. Here, you can stroll through winding streets full of galleries, boutiques, and terraces. Roussillon surprises with its warm ochre colors and unique rock formations, while Gordes charms with its limestone houses and panoramic views. Each village has its own atmosphere, markets and local products. Here, you experience true Provençal life, with a mix of tranquility, craftsmanship and culture.
