General information

This tastefully decorated safari tent has a living area of about 25 square meters with standing room in the entire tent and equipped with a lovely spacious terrace with awning.

The completely equipped kitchen has a four-burner thermally protected gas stove and is on wheels that can be moved outside, so you can cook fun outside!

In the back of the tent are two sleeping cabins. One sleeping cabin has a double bed and the other sleeping cabin has two bunk beds.

    Fijne, familiare camping in een prachtige omgeving. We stonden er een weekje met twee kleine kindjes. De camping is niet massaal, basics zijn prima op orde. Ruime plekken, schoon sanitair (2 gebouwen). Er is een super tof zwemmeer voor kids vanaf 6 jaar met opblaasbaar glijbaan ding. Cool! En een klein zwembad. De kinderen vonden het fantastisch. Ook de edelstenen (die stiekem in de rivier worden gestrooid) zijn een leuke toevoeging. Kinderen allemaal verwonderd en steentjes zoeken.

    Elke dag komt de bakker voor vers brood. Je kunt geen broodjes bestellen en dat geeft wel een wat lange rij elke dag. Maar er staat wel koffie!

    Er is ook een terras met horeca waar je de ene avond pizza, de andere avond schnitzel en weer een andere avond soort bistro hebt. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

    Als ik nog wat tips zou mogen geven dan zou ik het aanbod in de receptie winkel wat uitbreiden. Bijvoorbeeld met wat vers fruit. En misschien ook nog wat andere lekkerheden overdag in de horeca, zoals tosti’s, simpele broodjes of soep. Iets gezonder dan de bratwurst met patat.

    We spent three weeks at Camping Donnersberg with our two teenagers, ages 13 and 15. Everyone enjoyed our stay at Camping Donnersberg. It’s a traditional campground where you still get to interact with the other campers. The surroundings are truly beautiful. We especially loved the nature. It’s the kind of campground where you still just press a buzzer to get the gate open, and you fill out a paper form to sign up for an activity—we think that’s great! No digitalization at all—we love it!

    Wij zijn drie weken naar camping donnersberg geweest, samen met twee pubers van 13 en 15 jaar oud. Iedereen heeft genoten van het verblijf op camping donnersberg. Het is een pure camping, er is nog echt contact met de vakantiegangers. De omgeving is echt prachtig. Wij vonden vooral de natuur erg mooi. Het is een camping waar je gewoon nog op een belletje drukt om er voor te zorgen dat de poort open gaat, je vult nog op een papiertje in dat je mee wil doen aan een activiteit, wij vinden dat super! Niks geen digitalisering, we love it!

    A very nice campground with very friendly and accommodating owners. Good sites with shade or sun, depending on your preference. Just let them know when you book. Child- and dog-friendly with plenty of play areas, a lake, a swimming pool, and a large dog run. Cell phone reception is rather poor, and Wi-Fi depends on your specific spot—but that also means you get some peace and quiet. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

    Sehr schöner Campingplatz mit sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Betreibern. Gute Parzellen mit Schatten oder Sonne, wie man es möchte. Einfach bei der Buchung abklären. Kinder- und Hundefreundlich mit jeder Menge Spielmöglichkeiten, See und Schwimmbad und großem Hundeplatz. Handyempfang ist eher schlecht und WLAN je nach Standplatz, da hat man dann aber auch mal seine Ruhe. Wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

    We had a wonderful time at this campground. We had an XL site with our trailer and an extra tent. Plenty of space! We were on a quiet side with plenty of shade, far enough from the lake that we could really relax. The kids loved the lake, the pool, and the ice cream. We were right near the new restroom building, which was also great. It was cleaned very regularly.

    Geweldige tijd gehad op deze camping. Wij hadden een XL plaats met de caravan en extra tentje. Ruimte zat! We zaten aan een rustige kant met voldoende schaduw, ver genoeg van het meer af zodat je ook de rust op kon zoeken. De kinderen hebben genoten van het meer en het zwembad en de ijsjes. Wij zaten vlakbij het nieuwe sanitairgebouw, ook dat was top. Werd heel regelmatig schoongemaakt.
