Looking for a holiday with a twist? Hausboot Leni is a modern floating holiday home, moored in the atmospheric harbor of Flensburg – the historic seafaring and port city on the Flensburg Fjord. Here you wake up on the water, enjoy your first coffee on the terrace and watch the boats glide by.

Inside, the houseboat is bright, stylish and comfortably furnished. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and give you sweeping views of the harbor from almost every corner. With 2 bedrooms and space for up to 3 people, it’s an ideal hideaway for a couple, a small family or a trip with a good friend. The well-equipped living area invites you to cook, relax and simply slow down, while the bathroom offers all the comfort you need during your stay.

The absolute highlight is the spacious roof terrace. Stretch out in the sunshine, read a book with the sound of the water in the background or enjoy a drink at sunset as the harbor lights come on. Thanks to Wi‑Fi and included electricity, you can easily stay connected – or choose not to, and just enjoy the peace and views.

Just a few steps from your floating home, you’ll find the lively sailing harbor and the cult currywurst stand "Piratennest" – perfect for a quick and tasty bite. Stroll along the harbor promenade into the old town of Flensburg, where historic buildings, beautiful churches and cozy cafés give the city its unique maritime charm. In summer the Nordermarkt square feels almost Mediterranean, with outdoor terraces and a relaxed holiday vibe.

Fancy a day out in nature? Head to the Holnis peninsula, about 15 km away, with its 400‑hectare nature reserve, hiking trails and the fine sandy Holnis Drei beach – often called the most beautiful beach on the Flensburg Fjord. Birdwatchers, walkers and sea lovers will feel right at home here. Beer fans can visit the traditional Flensburg Brewery, and if you’re traveling with kids, a day trip to LEGOLAND in Billund is a fantastic extra.
