The play beach and fishing pond are also within walking distance, so older children can also have fun, yet stay close by!

Prefer a bit more privacy and a fantastic view? Then there are two 7-person Glamping Lodges available on the beach overlooking the fishing pond. From the (lockable) veranda, you can enjoy the sunset in the evenings. No view of other accommodations, but you get to fully enjoy the peace and nature of the campsite!

When it comes to luxury, nothing is overstated, as these lodges are equipped with a fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher. During your amazing holiday you’ll have your own bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. These lodges in the Netherlands are also comfortable on colder days. There’s a lovely lounge set with television, and enough play area for the children. Of course, a heater is available to keep the evenings warm. For a peaceful and relaxed breakfast, there is a spacious dining table that seats everyone.

The safari tents at this 5-star family campsite accommodate up to 5 people. Our safari tents in the Netherlands give you the feeling of camping, but with just that extra touch of luxury. Thanks to the fully equipped kitchen with both hot and cold water and a fridge with freezer compartment, you’ll enjoy that bit of extra comfort on the campsite. Crockery and cooking utensils are provided, as well as a coffee maker and kettle. There’s plenty of space both inside and outside the tent! Inside you’ll find a lounge set with television, and outside a picnic table and hanging chair to relax in. In early and late season, the safari tents are equipped with a heater, so your stay is always pleasant! Showers and toilets are located in the heated sanitary building, just a minute’s walk away. It’s even possible to book private sanitary facilities for that extra bit of luxury during your holiday.

THE FACILITIES AT CAMPING DE PALLEGARSTE

This spacious campsite in the Netherlands offers excellent facilities and is located near the Vechtdal of Overijssel. Several accommodations are located at the play beach by the fishing pond, which is a fun bonus at Camping de Pallegarste. During school holidays and weekends (April to September), there is an extensive entertainment program, and the campsite has an outdoor pool with a water playground, five slides, and a large family slide (May to August).

You can also rent (electric) bicycles, play in the playground, or enjoy a snack at the Grand Café. In the mood for ice cream? Then visit the new ice cream parlor and taste all the different flavors! Finished eating on the covered terrace? Then the kids can have fun in the indoor playground or in one of the many playgrounds on the campsite!

THE SURROUNDINGS OF MARIËNBERG, OVERIJSSEL

There’s so much to do around Camping de Pallegarste in Overijssel. The lively center of Hardenberg is close to the campsite, as well as various amusement parks. Take the kids to Adventure Zoo Wildlands, Attractiepark Slagharen, or Tierpark Nordhorn. The region also offers countless cycling and hiking routes through nature. Visit the Vechtdal Nature Reserve or the Vecht river, for example. Or rent a canoe (arrangeable at reception) and join a trip down the Vecht!
