Mini Sleeping Barrel

Cozy and ideal for two people: you sleep in a spacious double bed, with benches and a table, and even heating for the cooler days. Bed linen is included – you don't have to bring anything. Outside, you'll find your own seating area with a view of Lake Constance. Sanitary facilities, electricity, and parking are included; Wi-Fi is available for an extra fee.

More space for up to four people: In addition to the double bed, the benches can be converted into two single beds. Storage space, sockets, heating, and a cozy wooden ambiance ensure comfort – whatever the weather. Here too, you'll find your own outdoor space, bed linen included, and all essential extras like electricity and access to the sanitary facilities.

Sleeping Cabin

The most comfortable option – for up to four people, with one double bed, two single beds, a table, chairs, a shelf, a fridge, a coffee maker, and a kettle. Heating, bed linen, and towels are included. Outside, you can enjoy views of the lake and the Alps. Arrive and feel right at home!

The facilities at Camping Markelfingen

Enjoy a public lido directly on site – perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. There’s a large playground for children, and you can play table tennis right next to the restaurant. A beach volleyball court also offers exercise and fun. Ready for an adventure? Rent a canoe, kayak, or SUP and discover Lake Constance from the water. Or explore the surroundings easily by bike, e-bike, or e-scooter. In the restaurant with its large terrace on the lake, you can enjoy delicious food – and daily fresh pastries, without having to order in advance. Barbecuing is also allowed, as long as you don’t use disposable grills or open fires. Comfort is also taken care of: the toilets are heated, so you’ll stay cozy even on cooler days. Hot water is, of course, included – both for showering and washing up. There are sinks with hot water available, so you can quickly do your dishes. Staying longer or need clean clothes? For a small fee, you can use the washing machines and dryers on site.

The surroundings of Lake Constance, Germany

There is plenty to discover around Markelfingen – whether it's nature, culture, or adventure. The regional train 'Seehas' quickly takes you to Radolfzell or Konstanz – perfect for shopping or strolling through the city. Cyclists can also enjoy the Lake Constance cycle path. The Allensbach Wildlife and Leisure Park is just a few minutes’ drive away – perfect for families, with animals and a large adventure playground. Reichenau Island, with its historic churches and gardens, can be reached in just over 20 minutes by bike. The famous flower island Mainau is about a 20-minute drive and offers colorful flower gardens, a castle, and many events. The Markelfingen beach is within walking distance – ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Prefer something more active? Just rent a SUP or kayak and explore the lake! In Meersburg – about 40 minutes by car – a castle, a palace, and thermal baths await you. Technology and aviation enthusiasts should definitely visit Friedrichshafen, with its Zeppelin and Dornier museums (approx. 45 minutes). Ravensburger Spieleland is highly recommended for children. A trip to Switzerland is also worthwhile: Kreuzlingen is about 15 minutes away by car and Stein am Rhein about half an hour. The Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen – one of the largest waterfalls in Europe – is also easily accessible and definitely worth a visit.
