The wine barrels at Camping Ostseequelle

At Camping Ostseequelle, there are 12 small wine barrels where you can truly experience the glamping vibe. The scent of wood and the beautiful natural surroundings will be the highlight of your holiday. Each camping barrel has a double bed with mattress, accommodating 2 people. There’s also a pull-out table in the front room and plenty of storage space under the beds. In front of the accommodation, you’ll find chairs and a table so you can enjoy the view or the sun. Sanitary facilities are located in the campsite's main sanitary building, which features high-quality toilets, showers, a children’s bathroom, a family bathroom, underfloor heating, and a camper kitchen. The barrels can be booked from April 1 to October 31. Bed linen and towels can also be booked.

The facilities at Camping Ostseequelle

The beautiful Camping Ostseequelle is crossed by a small stream and is surrounded by lovely scenery. Plus, Ostsee Camping is located directly on a 3.5 km long sandy beach on the Wohlenberger Wiek. The gently sloping water is ideal for splashing children, windsurfers, and kitesurfers. The campsite also features a play cabin with billiards, table football, and darts, another kids' play cabin, a playground with a table tennis table, a football field with a goal wall, a volleyball court, a pétanque area, and an outdoor chess board. If you have a valid fishing permit, some lakes within walking distance offer ample fishing opportunities. There’s also a bike rental shop where you can rent (electric) bikes for a fee. In the restaurant with an open fireplace and beer garden, you can end your day with a delicious dinner and fine wine. A real highlight of the campsite is the Softup whirlpool, which you can rent from just 2 days. It’s weather-resistant, features integrated LED color lighting, and has 7 hydrojets for massage. The campsite’s surroundings are very diverse and offer something for everyone. The glamping site is set amidst meadows, hills, and forests, the blue-shimmering sea, and near the city of Wismar. Furthermore, the Wohlenberger Wiek provides direct access to the Baltic Sea, where you can enjoy various beach activities thanks to the shallow water, such as kitesurfing or simply relaxing in the sun. If you’re looking for culture, the area provides beautiful spots to discover.
