General information

The "Camping Schwabenmühle", opened in 2008, is located in the wine and holiday resort of Laudenbach. The facility is situated in an idyllic location on a peninsula, nestled between the rivers Vorbach and Mühlbach, surrounded by forests and vineyards in the Vorbach Valley. The family-run campsite is centrally located in the "Beautiful Tauber Valley" on the edge of Laudenbach, a district of the town of Weikersheim.

The wine barrels of Camping Schwabenmühle

Spend cozy hours in one of the three Finkota camping barrels at Camping Schwabenmühle. On the 1.8 x 2 m bed you can relax comfortably. Below, you'll find a large storage space for your luggage. You can sit together comfortably in the separate front room with a pull-out table, which can also be converted into a sleeping area for a child (barrel 1, two children). There is a small terrace at the front of the property where you can enjoy the sun.

Facilities of Camping Schwabenmühle

At Camping Schwabenmühle you will find a children's playground, table tennis tables, and a table football game where you can let off steam with your children. There is also a small kiosk and a café. In the morning, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with the whole family thanks to the bread delivery service. The campsite also has a campsite library and a cozy reading corner. For a fee, you can rent e-bikes to explore the surroundings.

The surroundings of Laudenbach, Baden-Württemberg

The wine and holiday resort of Laudenbach is the largest district of Weikersheim and is situated 3 km away in the idyllic Vorbach Valley, directly on the "Hohenloher Residenzenweg" cycle path. Of particular interest are the two local churches: the parish church "St. Margareta", built in 1894/95 and renovated in 2005/2006, and the pilgrimage church "Zur Painful Mother," built in 1412 on the hill with the "Melchior von Hatzfeld tomb." Nearby is also the town of Weikersheim, the headquarters of the Hohenlohe House, a model of a rural residence. Castle, park, and town form a harmonious whole. In addition, the Tauberland Village Museum is located directly on the market square in the former grain house (16th century). It contains the largest collection of rural cultural goods in Tauberfranken.
