Glamping Atzmännig - PODhouses & Lodges See-Gaster

Atzmännig is both an amusement park and glamping in Switzerland, located in the See-Gaster district on the northern side of Lake Zurich, at the foot of the Alps. The glamping in the village of Goldingen, at the base of a hill, is suitable for both summer and winter holidays, and offers great facilities for the whole family.

The accommodation The PODhouses – wooden igloos – offer a unique experience. These cozy lodges are suitable for 2 to 6 people, depending on the type, making them ideal for a couple or a family with children. The cabins are grouped together in a spot surrounded by nature, and are equipped with electricity and heating. The sanitary facilities, with free hot water, are within walking distance. There is a barbecue hut that you can use free of charge.

The luxury Lodge suites are stylishly decorated; rustic, cozy, and alpine-chic. These luxury rooms, suitable for 1-3 people or for groups up to 32 people, are perfect for a short holiday throughout the year. You sleep on comfortable beds, and each room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. In the lodge suites, you have free Wi-Fi.

The facilities The lodges in See-Gaster, just one hour’s drive from Zurich, are ideal for a short holiday to escape the hectic pace of daily life. There are plenty of fun activities to do here throughout the year. In summer, take the cable car up the mountain and follow the Spatz Männi Adventure Trail, or whiz down with the toboggan run. Adventurers will love the climbing course in the woods. You can swing on a giant swing over the pond, sail mechanical boats across the water, and get shot into the air in a harness with bungee cords. The large playground, petting zoo, and the big waterslide also guarantee hours of fun. In winter, at this Glamping Atzmännig in See-Gaster, you can rent all sorts of sporting equipment, such as skis, snowboards, boots, poles, helmets, and snowshoes. Night skiing on the illuminated slope is a unique experience as well. The Atzmännig slopes are light to medium difficulty, ideal for beginners and advanced skiers. There’s also a cozy kiosk, a restaurant, and the Brustenegg Hut with magnificent views over the foothills of the Alps located on the hillside.

The surroundings There is plenty to do in the area. Go skiing, snowboarding, or take snow walks in winter, and enjoy beautiful hikes in the Atzmännig area in summer. The climbing park, with various courses high up in the trees, also makes for an amazing family adventure. The nearby Knie’s Children’s Zoo and Alpamare Aquapark – the largest indoor water park in Europe – as well as the dinosaur museum in Aathal, are also perfect destinations for a day out. There are also several restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
