The natural Kanu & Camp Aqua Hema is located in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. By canoeing in the Regen valley, mountain biking or hiking, you can have lots of fun with the whole family at this campsite!
The log cabins at Kanu & Camp Aqua Hema
The glamping cabins at Kanu & Camp Aqua Hema are built in log cabin style and perfectly match the overall atmosphere of the camp. Depending on their size, these glamping accommodations can host 4–6 people. They are wonderful lodges in Germany. They offer a sturdy roof, comfortable beds, and electricity. In front of the log cabins, there is a covered veranda where you can fully enjoy summer evenings. The large log cabin with its own kitchenette is ideal for a longer stay. Near the glamping accommodation are modern sanitary facilities. If you’d like to travel with a larger group, multiple cabins are available for rent. The fireplaces are also perfect for cozy barbecues.

Kanu & Camp Aqua Hema offers plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind. Still, there are many facilities on the campsite for sports and activities. For example, take advantage of canoe rental to explore the Regental canoe trekking area—a real insider tip! You can also blow off steam on the volleyball or football field. For younger guests, there is a fun playground. Swimming in the river on warm summer days is a real experience. If you want to explore the area, bikes are available for rent for the whole family, allowing you to take various cycling trips. As a guest at the campsite, you also have the option to use the bus or train for free. After an active day, make yourself comfortable in the restaurant or beer garden to end your evening with delicious local delicacies.
The surroundings of Kreuzbach, Bavaria
Kanu & Camp Aqua Hema is located right in the Bavarian Forest. You can go hiking or use the extensive network of cycling paths. It’s a perfect area for mountain bikers or inline skaters to unwind. If you want to visit nearby cities, don’t miss Regensburg, Bad Kötzting or Furth im Wald. The Czech border is also not far from the campsite—so during your glamping holiday in Bavaria, you can even visit another country. Don’t miss Passau near the Austrian border, where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers meet.
