General information

Novanta is a unique experience. The glamping is located in a completely transformed, abandoned Tuscan village that has now become an enchanting destination. Here, you can stay in a stunning treehouse while discovering the best of Tuscany!

The Treehouse of Novanta

The treehouse in Tuscany is called TreeHugger because it virtually embraces a 200-year-old oak tree. This special bedroom is ideal for adventurers who secretly want to enjoy a touch of luxury. From every angle, you have a breathtaking view over the valley and the ruins of the village. The sleeping area features a comfortable double bed, and if you walk a short way up the hill, you'll find an outdoor bathroom with a shower and toilet. Even while showering, you can enjoy the gorgeous views. The treehouse has electricity and gives you the feeling of having the whole village to yourself — completely secluded, yet only a few minutes' walk from the pool.

The facilities of Novanta

At this glamping, you experience the real Tuscany. The food prepared here is made from fresh ingredients sourced locally. The wine comes from local wine growers, and even the truffles and mushrooms are found in the surrounding forests. Dinner is prepared together and served at a long wooden table. You are warmly invited to help in the kitchen, so you can immediately learn how to prepare delicious Italian dishes.

There’s much more to enjoy than just at the table. On the grounds you'll find various cozy hangouts where you can fully relax. Stroll through the peaceful orchard, explore the impressive old ruins, or unwind by the saltwater pool. Perched on the edge of the hill, the 20-meter pool offers a beautiful view of the valley, making every swim feel like a moment of pure relaxation. This glamping in Tuscany also provides numerous activities to immerse yourself in the local culture. You can go truffle hunting, practice archery, do yoga, and have lunch at the neighbor’s — the butcher — on his hillside farm. And there’s much more to discover! Whether you seek peace or adventure, Novanta offers the perfect escape for every guest.

The surroundings of Bibbiena, Tuscany

Enjoy stunning views over the valley, magnificent sunrises and sunsets, and a tranquility you'll find in few other places. The secluded and idyllic medieval hamlet of Borgo di Gello had been uninhabited since the 1950s but has now come back to life. The village, with its few buildings and church, now makes up the entirety of the glamping.

A beautiful little river flows at a short distance from the glamping, perfect for a refreshing swim. Arezzo and Florence are only 1 and 2 hours' drive from Novanta, so you can easily take a trip to these wonderful cities. Florence, for example, offers a wealth of art, history, and architecture. Don’t miss the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo. Beyond that, you’ll find plenty of picturesque villages in the direct area that reflect authentic Tuscan life—perfect for a peaceful walk or a visit to local farms.

Food plan

Novanta offers a food plan (mandatory, at an additional charge) that includes a complete breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, so you never have to worry about a thing. Coffee, tea, sparkling and still tap water are always free — and you can even pick mint leaves from the herb garden for a refreshing organic mint tea! Children under 4 eat free, and for children aged 4–12, the cost is a little under half price. Fancy exploring the area and dining in a local restaurant for a change? No problem! The costs will simply be reimbursed.

The price shown is based on the price per night in the low season, based on a one-week stay.
