The safari tents of Recreatiepark De Achterste Hoef

The spacious safari tent, no less than 35m² (excluding the terrace), is the ideal base for a family holiday. The tent accommodates five people and combines the authentic camping experience with the comforts of home. Thanks to the sturdy canvas walls, rustic interior, and atmospheric finish, you’ll truly feel surrounded by nature while still enjoying luxury.

The tent features two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed and a single bed. In the cosy living area, you’ll find a dining table with chairs and a compact kitchen, fully equipped with inventory. In addition, you have your own toilet in the tent and cold running water in the kitchen, while other modern and heated sanitary facilities are within walking distance. The covered terrace is fitted with a comfortable lounge set, perfect for relaxing after a day full of adventure.

When the children are having fun, the parents can relax too. At this friendly glamping in the Netherlands, new friendships are quickly made. Whether it’s in the indoor pool, the heated outdoor pool, the large outdoor playground or the indoor play paradise, there’s always something fun to do. During the holidays, the entertainment team takes care of a varied activities and recreation program, while the mini club gladly looks after the little ones. The icing on the cake is the large lake with a slide and the sandy beach with various play structures, perfect for enjoying the summer. Golf lovers can play a round on the 9-hole golf course, while children can practice their swing on the mini golf course. The campsite also offers bicycle rental, so you can explore the surroundings at your own pace. For daily groceries, you can go to the campsite shop, and for a delicious meal, you can dine in the excellent restaurant or grab a bite at the snack bar.

Recreatiepark De Achterste Hoef is located in a wooded area, ideal for beautiful walks and cycling trips through the Brabant countryside. Combine your adventure with culinary delights by choosing the 'Wandelanders' or 'Happen en Trappen' package.

In the area around the park, there’s something for everyone. Take a trip to lively towns such as Valkenswaard, Hilvarenbeek, and Oirschot, where you can enjoy charming markets, historic streets, and great places to eat and drink, or go shopping in Eindhoven, Tilburg, or vibrant Antwerp, known for its fashion and culture. For children, a day out to Efteling, Bobbejaanland, Toverland or one of the many other amusement parks or zoos is of course an absolute highlight.

Extra facilities

Beautiful chalets, trekkers’ huts, Lotus Belle tents, and bungalows are also available for rent at this glamping. Pets are not allowed in the safari tents. You can use free Wifi, but for Netflix, gaming, or TV apps, you need to purchase a Wifi login code at the reception.
