Winterwoods - Yurts Drenthe

Winterwoods is a delightful and beautiful pop-up campsite in Drenthe! Sleeping in a yurt, joining in on all the fun activities, evenings around the campfire, and really unwinding are a sure thing during this getaway in your own country. You won’t miss anything and have everything at hand, as the yurt is fully equipped. The perfect glamping for a special holiday right in the forest!

The Yurts of Winterwoods

At Winterwoods, you stay in an authentic Mongolian yurt. Various yurts are spread across the site, on different fields and among the trees. The stay in the yurt is pleasantly back to basic, so you can truly get away from it all, but still with the necessary comforts and facilities. Inside the yurt, there is a comfortable double bed. On either side, there is also a single bed, so they are suitable for couples, families or travel parties of up to 4 people. There is also a small table with chairs and, in the center of the yurt, the wood stove where you can make a fire with self-chopped wood. Each tent also has lamps, bed linen and warm bedding. There are no sanitary facilities in the yurt but on the site there is a sanitary building with toilets, hot showers, and a dishwashing area.

A stay at Winterwoods includes:

• 2 nights in a traditional yurt tent

• Fully furnished with a wood stove & traditional furniture

• Warm, wool blankets

• Use of the sauna area

• Where possible, participation in all activities mentioned below

• Flextent with tables, lounges & heaters

• 1x firewood for your stove

• Your own gas cooker and campfire cooking set

• You can stay for 2 or 3 nights
