Medium-sized, hilly campground with a variety of accommodations. The pool with slides is a big plus; we enjoyed this with the family. Our Next L cottage was compact but complete. 2 person Mattress very hard, air conditioning worked poorly at first but after cleaning the filter ourselves it functioned fine again. Staff not always friendly. Animation team had a nice program, but was not enthusiastic enough to involve our children. High yuppie content, parking spaces limited. Camping store well stocked, good quality restaurant. Several charging stations available, but with high rate per kWh. All in all a well-kept campsite with pleasant atmosphere and nice facilities for families.

Personeel niet altijd even vriendelijk.

Truly a wonderful experience we had recently at Vallicella Glamping Resort, a very gracious structure that lent itself very well to what were our needs. Regarding the latter, in fact, we needed a support point to be able to devote ourselves to the discovery of the Maremma territory, possibly keeping costs down. Poking around on the net 🌐 we therefore discovered and then opted for the Vallicella, attracted both by the strategic location of the complex and its peculiar nature of glamping. The choice therefore fell on Air Dreamer 1 (precisely No. 2), a characteristic accommodation between a tent and a bungalow (I don't know what to call it) and equipped with every comfort, from the bathroom with shower 🚿 to the full kitchenette complete with a fridge, microwave, kettle 🫖 and coffee maker ☕️. Once we arrived on site (on a Sunday around 4 p.m. 🕓), we also pleasantly found a welcome kit including 🧽 sponge 🧽 for washing dishes, detergent and towel, as well as a "Tea & Coffee Break Set" (complimentary sachet containing coffee, tea, milk powder and sugar packets). Dishes 🍽🥛 are also provided in the basic equipment. In any case, as soon as we arrived we immediately went through the paperwork related to check-in directly at the front desk with the kind managers. One of them 👩🏼‍🦱, in particular, after pointing us to the parking area 🅿️ kindly gave us a ride by golf car 🛺 to our accommodation. Our stay was pleasantly prolonged until the following Saturday, when we checked out at 11 a.m. 🕚 then leaving the facility for Montecatini Terme (another stop on the way home). Between excursions, unfortunately, we didn't get to frequent the glamping itself much more, especially in terms of recreational facilities such as the swimming pool 🏊 and the soccer fields ⚽️ and table tennis 🏓. Excellent 👌🏻 on the other hand is the restaurant service offered by the "Bistrò del Faro," at which we dined on the evening of our arrival (most deserving 😋 my pizza 🍕 "Chianti"). Absolutely good value for money since in total we spent 316.17 euros 💶, paid by card 💳 directly at the time of booking 📱. Curious, but really only up to a point, the large (and I would say preponderant) presence of guests of Dutch nationality 🇳🇱. In fact, from a quick search I learned that the facility, in addition to being founded by a citizen originally from that country, is also "twinned," if one can say so (the ownership is the same), with a glamping located in the Twente countryside. As mentioned, the location is strategic since Vallicella is located at the foot of the high ground dominated by the ancient village of Scarlino (beautiful the panoramic view 👁 appreciable already from here) and, at the same time, a short distance from a strategic junction such as the SP152 "Aurelia Vecchia" that leads to nearby Follonica. I would love to return to resume our tour of discovery of the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍🏻. CONSIGLIATISSIMO 👍🏻. The campsite is manageable. As it is situated on a slope, you always have to climb a few meters. The pool area is nice, but the white water slide is really fun! Unfortunately there wasn't much going on in the last week in the fall and the entertainers weren't as motivated, partly because there were so few children. The jeep rental for the little ones for 10EUR per 20min was cool. The parents have to walk along and get the radio button. There is room for 2 children. The restaurant was ok, but then we always went out to eat.

This was an amazing find. The staff was so good except for a rude and arrogant dutch boy who didn't seem to want to be there. Otherwise the place was amazing
