Camping Horstmannsbos is a wonderful, fairly small-scale, cozy family campground. For anyone who does not like hysterical animation teams, but likes to play and chill in nature! We were in the safari tent for 4 people and everything was fine. Field close to the big playground and swimming pond, but our son (almost 6) spent a lot of time on the field playground and behind the tents among the trees, with stones and branches and in the sand. At night marshmallows by the campfire and stamdaard 22.00h it was quiet on the campsite! Camping was also super neat, every morning someone went around with a toothpick and what was really great, was that in the morning the sandwiches were delivered to your tent! The only thing I sometimes missed was a small store at the campsite or nearby, so in terms of food it was sometimes a bit of planning ahead. But all in all a very successful vacation!
