    We booked an accommodation through Belvilla that was advertised on Fewo-direkt as "pets allowed". I had explicitly stated via chat on the portal that we were traveling with two dogs. A Belvilla employee confirmed this in writing. Shortly before arrival, the landlord refused to allow the dogs, claiming they were not registered. Despite my proof (chat history, confirmation from Fewo-direkt), Belvilla took no responsibility and did not offer alternative accommodation. We had to book alternative accommodation ourselves at short notice, resulting in significant additional costs. The way complaints are handled is particularly disappointing: emails do not seek solutions, but excuses. Instead of taking a clear stand or responsibility, Belvilla systematically blames customers or "the system." Conclusion: We cannot recommend Belvilla, especially when traveling with pets. Despite written confirmation, promises were not kept and communication was downright evasive.
