Looking for a unique place to escape with friends? Watervilla de Blauwe Reiger is a one-of-a-kind water villa, hidden in the middle of the beautiful Wijde Ee nature reserve. You’re completely surrounded by water and silence here – the only way to get to the house is by boat. That already sets the tone for your stay: pure peace, lots of nature, and total freedom.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious living room with large floor-to-ceiling windows. Wherever you sit, you have a panoramic view over the water. Light floods in, and in the evening you can curl up together by the cosy gas fireplace with a drink and a good conversation.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking together is part of the fun. Whether you’re preparing a relaxed brunch or an extensive dinner with local ingredients, you’ve got everything you need. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there’s plenty of space and privacy for up to 6 people – ideal for a group of friends traveling together.

A real highlight is the private sauna overlooking the water. After a day out on the lake or exploring the area by boat, you can unwind here and enjoy the view while you relax. If you’re coming with a second group of friends, there’s a similar water villa right next door, also for 6 guests and with the same level of comfort and luxury.

The surroundings are perfect if you love being on or near the water. The Wijde Ee and the nearby lakes, canals and waterways are made to be explored by boat. You can rent one at various rental agencies in the area (for a fee) and discover quiet coves, wide open lakes and picturesque routes at your own pace.

Before arrival you can choose an optional utilities and service package (€115). This covers things like final cleaning, utility use, service support and protection against small damages – handy if you just want to arrive, relax and not think about anything. Prefer to arrange it yourself? That’s also possible, as long as you leave the villa in good condition.
