What you should know about the park

The Bosgraaf is the ideal base for nature lovers and peace seekers on the Veluwe. Surrounded by forests and heathlands, the glamping offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. On the park itself there is a heated outdoor pool, where young and old can relax. For the children there is a large playground and various activities are organized during the high season. There is also a shop/snackbar, providing you with all the conveniences during your stay! The Restaurant is temporarily closed.

    Because of our dog who is very fearful of fireworks, we were looking for a fireworks-free park. The website advertises as fireworks free park and "no bang, no flash, just peace and quiet during New Year's Eve". Before we made the booking we called them to discuss the situation and ask if it really was a fireworks free park, this was confirmed. Unfortunately with New Year's Eve 3 hours of incessant fireworks from our opposite neighbors and there was no one at the park to enforce this (they themselves claim it was). We immediately ran to the reception, but it was closed, also via email and whatsapp no response. Eventually we found the emergency number and got a young man on the phone who, by the background sounds to hear, was celebrating his own party. So we spoke to the people ourselves and pointed out that it was a fireworks-free park and there were frightened dogs everywhere in the cottages. They found that annoying mazr they still had at least an hour of fireworks they wanted to light. That the rest of the park also had fireworks lit up in several places was evident (apart from the noise) the next day because of all the fireworks packages lying through the park. So are you looking for a fireworks-free park? Then I do not recommend this one.

    Vanwege onze hond die erg angstig is voor vuurwerk waren wij op zoek naar een vuurwerkvrij park. De website adverteert als vuurwerkvrij park en "geen knal, geen flits, enkel rust tijdens oud en nieuw". Voordat we de boeking deden hebben we ze nog gebeld om de situatie te bespreken en vragen of het echt een vuurwerkvrij park was, dit werd bevestigd. Helaas met Oud en Nieuw 3 uur onophoudelijk vuurwerk van onze overburen en er was niemand op het park om dit te handhaven (ze beweren zelf van wel). We zijn meteen naar de receptie gelopen, maar die was gesloten, ook via de mail en whatsapp geen reactie. Uiteindelijk hebben we het noodnummer gevonden en kregen we een jongeman aan de telefoon die, aan de achtergrond geluiden te horen, zn eigen feestje aan het vieren was. We hebben de mensen dan ook maar zelf aangesproken en aangegeven dat het een vuurwerkvrij park was en er overal angstige hondjes in de huisjes verbleven. Dat vonden ze vervelend mazr ze hadden nog zeker een uur aan vuurwerk dat ze wilden opsteken. Dat ook op de rest van het park op meerdere plekken vuurwerk was opgestoken was (los van het geluid) de volgende dag te zien door alle vuurwerkpakketten die door het park lagen. Dus bent u op zoek naar een vuurwerkvrij park? Dan raad ik deze niet aan.

    Last weekend at the Forest Grove. We were in a beautiful cottage where we were on a corner and really had our own private garden with the hot tub. The hot tub did smell like old water and it was missing an instruction manual but fortunately that soon came good. The cottage itself was also nicely set up inside with a nice kitchen and furniture. We did miss the dishwasher. Furthermore, you could easily order French fries from the park and the park is located in a beautiful area near Apeldoorn, Loenen and Zutphen but a little further drive and you're already in Deventer or Hardewijk. So highly recommended!

    Afgelopen weekend op de Bosgraaf. We zaten in een mooi huisje waarbij we op een hoek zaten en echt onze eigen privétuin hadden met de hottub. De hottub rook wel naar oud water en er miste een gebruiksaanwijzing maar dat kwam gelukkig al snel goed. Het huisje zelf was van binnen ook prima opgezet met een mooie keuken en meubels. We misten wel de vaatwasser. Verder kon je heel makkelijk vanaf het park friet bestellen en het park ligt in een mooie omgeving vlakbij Apeldoorn, Loenen en Zutphen maar iets verder rijden en je zit al in Deventer of Hardewijk. Wel een aanrader dus!

    It was a very comfortable and cozy cottage , really top 👌. Park is located in a beautiful area, wooded The service is fantastic ... we got a super spot as a replacement ( were in a bare empty part , this because the park is in the process of renovating the plots ) quick solution 👌 . Restaurant , great food and fine service . Tip , in the store also sell something of fresh vegetables / meat , 😉 Freshly baked buns are very 😋 We were at the park now during the Christmas vacations , would like to visit it again in the spring or summer 🤞🌳🌞 Thanks for the nice time at your park 👌

    Het was een heel comfortabel en sfeervol huisje , echt top 👌 Park ligt in een mooie omgeving, bosrijk De service is fantastisch… we kregen ter vervanging een superplekje ( zaten in een kaal leeg gedeelte , dit omdat het park bezig is met renoveren van de perceels ) snelle oplossing 👌 Restaurant, prima eten en fijne bediening . Tip , in de winkel ook iets van verse groente/ vlees te verkopen , 😉 Vers gebakken broodjes zijn zeer 😋 We waren nu in de kerstvakantie op het park , willen het graag nog eens in de lente of zomer bezoeken 🤞🌳🌞 Bedankt voor de fijne tijd op jullie park 👌
