    Due to unexpected hospitalization , we could not go on vacation. he was not allowed to lift, bike or drive a car. we had booked a cycling vacation.

    wegens onverwachte opname van het ziekenhuis , konden wij niet op vakantie. hij mocht niet tillen, fietsen of auto rijden. wij hadden een fietsvakantie geboekt.

    The cottage is very Spartan, so don't expect luxury appliances like dishwasher or microwave. It is very dark because it is surrounded by trees all around, so a lamp on almost all day. When we entered the house it was infested with insects: mosquitoes, flies, moths and spiders in large numbers. We spent 1.5 hours trying to get it somewhat bug free. Everything we wanted to use cups, cutlery, pans, etc. we had to wash first because it was not clean. What we were satisfied with were the beds, they slept well. We had booked for a week but left after 3 days and booked something else. Pity about the pennies, but this was not worthy of Belvilla.

    Het huisje is erg Spartaans, verwacht dus geen luxe apparaten zoals afwasmachine of magnetron. Het is erg donker, omdat het rondom omgeven is door bomen, dus bijna de gehele dag een lamp aan. Toen wij binnenkwamen was het vergeven van de insecten: muggen,vliegen, motvlinders en spinnen in grote getale aanwezig. We zijn 1,5 uur bezig geweest om het enigszins insectenvrij te krijgen. Alles wat we wilden gebruiken aan kopjes, bestek, pannen, etc. moesten we eerst afwassen omdat het niet schoon was. Waar wij wel tevreden over waren zijn de bedden, deze sliepen goed. We hadden voor een week geboekt maar zijn na 3 dagen vertrokken en hebben iets anders geboekt. Jammer van de centen, maar dit was niet Belvilla waardig.

    Mooi gelegen vakantiehuis: goed onderhouden en schoon. Rustig en mooi gelegen op een rustige camping. Geen TV, maar wel mogelijkheid voor kampvuur maken. Ligt in mooi gebied dat zich goed leent voor mooie uitstapjes, wandelingen, fietstochten en boottochten. In de omgeving is veel moois te zien. Aanrader voor wie de Biesbosch wil ontdekken!
