Inside you’ll find a bright living area where you can curl up on the sofa and watch your favourite series on the smart TV after a day outdoors.     Nice cottage, fully equipped, enough space for 4 people. The 2 bathrooms with 2 toilets are nice, especially with 2 adolescents. Also, the TVs in the bedrooms are nice. Only downside I can mention is the hiking area in the immediate vicinity, along busy roads this is not nice with 2 dogs. There is a piece where you can walk with the dogs in the grass, behind the dike. But otherwise it is great here, location is nice and central, lots to see in the immediate vicinity.

    Mooi huisje, compleet ingericht, genoeg ruimte voor 4 personen. De 2 badkamers met 2 toiletten zijn fijn, helemaal met 2 pubers. Ook zijn de tv's op de slaapkamers fijn. Enig minpunt dat ik kan noemen is het wandelgebied in de directe omgeving, langs drukke wegen is dit met 2 honden niet fijn. Er is wel een stuk waar je met de honden in het gras kunt wandelen, achter de dijk. Maar verder is het hier geweldig, ligging is mooi centraal, veel te zien in de directe omgeving.

    Beautiful, fully furnished vacation home with plenty of space for four people. The two bathrooms, each with a toilet, are great, especially with two teenagers. The televisions in the bedrooms are also very practical. The only small downside is the area around the cottage: as it is along busy roads, it is not ideal with two dogs. However, there is a section behind the dyke where you can take the dogs for a walk in the meadow. Otherwise, it's fantastic here; the location is wonderfully central and there's lots to discover in the area.

    Wunderschönes, komplett möbliertes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz für vier Personen. Die zwei Badezimmer mit jeweils einer Toilette sind super, besonders mit zwei Teenagern. Die Fernseher in den Schlafzimmern sind auch sehr praktisch. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die Gegend um das Ferienhaus: Da es an stark befahrenen Straßen entlangführt, ist es mit zwei Hunden nicht ideal. Es gibt aber einen Abschnitt hinter dem Deich, wo man mit den Hunden auf der Wiese spazieren gehen kann. Ansonsten ist es hier fantastisch; die Lage ist wunderschön zentral und es gibt viel zu entdecken in der Umgebung.

    The park and lodge were very pleasant. Unfortunately, it just stormed and rained, and we couldn't do much other than drive to the nearest town. There was no café nearby. One day the sun shone and we were able to bike along the dike to Horn. When the weather is nice, this is a really beautiful area with friendly people. The staff at Widjenes was very friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to be able to drive directly to the lodge while unloading; everything got wet from parking with a handcart in the rain.

    Het park en de lodge waren erg prettig. Helaas stormde en regende het alleen maar, en konden we niet veel anders doen dan naar het dichtstbijzijnde stadje rijden. Er was geen café in de buurt. Op een dag scheen de zon en konden we langs de dijk naar Horn fietsen. Bij mooi weer is dit een werkelijk prachtige omgeving met vriendelijke mensen. Het personeel van Widjenes was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zou fijn zijn geweest om tijdens het uitladen direct naar de lodge te kunnen rijden; alles werd nat van de parkeerplaats met een handkar in de regen.

    Der Park und die Lodge waren sehr angenehm. Leider hat es nur gestürmt und geregnet und wir konnten nicht viel machen ausser mit dem Auto in die nächste Stadt. Ein Cafe in der Nähe gab es nicht. Ein Tag schien die Sonne und wir konnten mit dem Fahrrad über den Deich bis Horn fahren. Bei schönem Wetter ist das eine super schöne Gegend mit netten Menschen. Das Personal von Widjenes war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Schön wäre beim Ausladen bis an die Lodge zu fahren, vom Parkplatz mit Bollerwagen im Regen wurde alles nass.

    Overall, our stay was fine, although we did experience some problems. On the first day, the wifi was not working. After I sent an e-mail, the problem was solved the next day: it turned out that the router was not connected. On the second day, unfortunately, none of the heaters worked anymore. Anyway, it was only a two-night stay and with four people in the room it wasn't that cold. But I wanted to let you know anyway.

    Over het algemeen was ons verblijf prima, hoewel we wel wat problemen ondervonden. Op de eerste dag werkte de wifi niet. Nadat ik een e-mail had gestuurd, was het probleem de volgende dag opgelost: de router bleek niet aangesloten te zijn. Op de tweede dag deed helaas geen enkele verwarming het meer. Hoe dan ook, het was maar een verblijf van twee nachten en met vier personen op de kamer was het niet zo koud. Maar ik wilde het je toch even laten weten.
