At Recreatiepark Tolplas 19 you stay in a stylish tiny house that’s perfect for a couple or a small family (max. two adults and two children). Everything is smartly laid out, so you enjoy a warm and cosy atmosphere without giving up any comfort.

Inside you’ll find a snug living area with a gas stove where you can curl up with a book after a day outside. The open kitchen is compact but practical, ideal for preparing breakfast or a simple dinner. On the ground floor there’s a comfortable sleeping area cleverly hidden behind a curtain, giving you a bit of privacy in this tiny house setup. Kids will love the playful loft, accessible by ladder – a real hideaway and adventure spot just for them. A modern bathroom completes the house, so you have everything you need in one efficient space.

Step outside and you’re just a few moments away from the beautiful recreational lake De Tolplas. Start your morning with a paddleboarding or canoe session on the water, or simply enjoy a peaceful walk around the lake with your dog. This holiday park is very pet-friendly, with lovely trails and plenty of space for your four-legged friend to explore.

Fancy a bite to eat? The lively city of Almelo is only 12 km away, and the charming village of Wierden is also close by. Here you’ll find cosy cafés and restaurants, many with dog-friendly terraces. Please note: restaurant De Tolplas in the park is closed from Wednesday 14 January to Tuesday 3 February 2026.

Do keep in mind that fireworks are allowed in the holiday park at New Year’s; check on site where they may be set off and help keep the park clean by throwing away any firework waste.
