Hmmm....So I was very disappointed with the place. In summer we went to the drive-in opposite, which was okay and we liked it. Even then (high season) I found it strange that you could only get bread rolls at the normal Klepperstee from 9 am, if there was still something there (pre-ordered). No good. Now in October we were in Renesse on a fantastic campsite. Then we came to the Klepperstee for the rest of our vacation. Mind you, with the caravan. The drive-in was full, so we booked in opposite. I asked (because the site wasn't fully booked anyway) for a pitch that was easy to reach with a very large caravan. What we got (in the dark and in bad weather) was a pitch in a little lane that is difficult for a small camper van. Oh well. Dear fellow campers helped and for the short time I didn't want to be annoyed, because there were large, easy-to-reach pitches in the immediate vicinity. Maybe it was because the employee didn't speak a word of German and his English wasn't much better. Showers not possible from 11 pm and only again from 7 am ?!?! Please ? The sanitary facilities (where we were) are in great need of renovation. Also the outside WC's where the doors constantly slam open and shut in the wind, just annoying. Permanent lighting inside, which means that there are lots of bugs, leaves and other things in the toilet cubicles that I don't want to have there. Somehow everything was very run-down. But the price was also okay for the service, 17.50 per night for 4 people with dog, electricity, water, wifi. Perhaps you can't expect more. No bread rolls in the morning. I wasn't the only one looking for them. The only clue on site -> directions to the nearest store with baked goods (you can't walk). So get the car out and look for bread rolls ;-) The playground area looks very large, but I didn't take a closer look at it, nor did my children. We preferred to go to the beach, which is great and empty in Ouddorp :-) You can hear loud pressure washers after 7 in the morning and the whole family was awake from the noise of the cleaning crews on our pitch. Maybe there are better places on the site, but we weren't thrilled. And as I have to make comparisons when awarding stars with pitches that I give more stars, I can only give a maximum of 2-3 here. Take your pick.

Drive-In war voll, also gegenüber eingebucht.

The campsite was really nice before the renovation / redesign. Nice large plot with high hedges and privacy. Now the pitch for motorhomes is small with no privacy right at the entrance to the road. We used to love staying here. Unfortunately after the remodeling not soooo bad anymore . It's better to drive to the Drive Inn than to the campground. Why this conversion was planned in this way eludes me, because really absolutely nothing has improved. Some of the existing washrooms have been torn down (the number was already small before) and not replaced by new ones. We are really very disappointed. If ouddorp then unfortunately no more de Klepperstee. You can see what a nice campsite looks like at Strandcamping Groede.
