Active in the area
Guests of Bedura Park benefit from exclusive discounts on activities in the Val d’Aran, one of the most beautiful and diverse mountain regions of Catalonia. This region is known for its wide range of adventurous outdoor sports. Think of exciting activities such as outdoor and adventure sports, climbing, a zipline circuit, quad tours, and mountain biking through the impressive mountain landscape. Ideal for both active holidaymakers and families looking for a special experience. The Val d’Aran provides access to the northern part of the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, a unique nature reserve with lakes, rivers, and high mountain peaks. From here you can reach, among others, the Lagos de Colomers, Restanca, the Montardo (2,911 m), and the Estany de Mar.

Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park
The Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Pyrenees and is known for its crystal-clear mountain lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and impressive mountain peaks. The park is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers, with routes for both relaxing walks and challenging mountain hikes. Well-known spots include the Lagos de Colomers, Estany de Sant Maurici, and the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks. From Camping Bedura Park, the national park is about 15 to 20 kilometers away, depending on the chosen entrance. By car, you can reach the northern entrance of the park in about 25 minutes.
Impressive waterfall
The Sant Esperit Waterfall (Cascada del Sant Esperit) is an impressive waterfall along one of the popular hiking trails in the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. The waterfall is especially spectacular in spring and after the snowmelt, when the meltwater flows down with force. From Camping Bedura Park, this sight is about 30 kilometers away, which amounts to approximately a 30 to 40 minute drive.
Vielha: the capital of the Val d’Aran
Vielha, the capital of the Val d’Aran, is located just about 10 km from Camping Bedura Park (around a 15-minute drive) and is a perfect destination for a day trip. The town has a charming historic center with narrow streets, cozy shops, and tapas bars and restaurants where you can taste local Aranese dishes. Visit the Romanesque church of Sant Miquèu and enjoy strolling through the squares, past boutiques and local markets, while soaking up the atmosphere of the Pyrenees.

"A change for the worse". After more than 10 years of going every summer, Conchita and Pedro are missed. Although in other publications say no, there has been a reduction of staff, which is very noticeable, and a reduction of services for children. Cleaning, mini-club, swimming pool, campsite maintenance, bar.... The poor workers, even with their best efforts, are not able to cope. Practical example, in the miniclub last year there were two girls, this year, upon entering we were told that the person who ran it was injured and that there would be no more miniclub. Before there were two, now there is one and "there is no staff cut". And why is it necessary to have two people in the mini-club? Because there are usually many children of different ages, from 3, 4 and 5 to 10, 11 and 12. And it is very difficult to find something that everyone likes. So someone stays with the little ones and the other person, with the older ones. Magic, walks along the river, and other activities with the children, disappeared in combat. Swimming pool, forgotten. I do not know if it will remain, but they can remove the sign "heated pool". Before, the "lifeguard", now nonexistent (but without "staff cuts"), was in charge of putting and removing insulating plates, which helped to keep the pool warm. Now, nothing... If with that, the water was already a little cold, now it is freezing and does not feel like bathing. "Restaurant and Bar. As they have already said here, there is no more breakfast, no menu of the day (which last year there was) or anything, a very small menu and if you go one day, you know what you're going to eat the rest of the days you want to eat. And yes, it is closed on Mondays all day and the rest from 16h to 19h. Upon entering we were told that if the bar is closed you can't access the loft, which has books and videos for children. Luckily, the staff is more considerate and did not kick us out when we were reading past 16h. Campsite maintenance. I'm sorry, but without staff cuts you can't understand what is happening here. Of the green plots, with grass and with the luster they were doing, forget about it. It's all dirt now. Last year, when a caravan or tent left, after 10 minutes you had Pedro or the person in charge with a sprinkler to water and replant. In the 9 or 10 days we have been there, I have not seen a single sprinkler. Cleaning toilets. Same as before, no trimming I don't understand. No paper many times (lucky we were prepared) and dirtier than usual. Not exaggeratedly, but more. The silence of the campsite. I guess that having opened the possibility of hiring through booking and others, people have come less respectful, but it is the responsibility of the campsite that if the hours of silence is at 23h, you can not enter with the car at that time and, previously, at 23h they forced you to close the outside lights, so you realize that at 23h is silence, zero noise. A security guard would pass by and tell you to turn off the lights. When we were there, the caravans with lights and making noise. Having said all this, and as I said in the first sentence, the change to WeCamp has not been good for this campsite.

I have been camping at Bedura for several summers and I agree with the comments about the neglect that has been seen this year. The cleanliness, without being bad, is not as impeccable as last year, it is the first time it has taken time to replace the toilet paper, which was missing many times, or to review the toilets and sinks. The plots were not in the same conditions as other times, much drier and without replanting, for example, it is not essential, but the leaves that fell from the trees were swept and picked up every so often, this year it has not been like that. The supermarket and bar service was very scarce. Few or no activities for children or adults. All this without criticizing the work of the staff, friendly, attentive, always ready to help, but it is noted that they do not give enough. I hope that the wonderful natural space and the possibilities offered by Bedura, which makes it stand out from others, will be valued and that the deficiencies will be corrected to offer the excellent quality that was offered until now.

"I've been summering at this campsite for more than 20 years and it had always been a beautiful place, with a well-kept environment and very nice grass plots. However, since the change of owners the experience has worsened significantly. The campsite needs a lot of maintenance and the first thing that has been noticed is the reduction in staff. The workers who remain are charming, but they are not enough, which affects both the service and cleanliness. The bar has very limited opening hours (closed on Mondays, opens late and is closed for several hours in the afternoon), which detracts from the life of the campsite. In addition, on the website they still use photos from the previous era, showing something that unfortunately no longer corresponds to reality. If they don't change course, they run the risk of losing what made this site special. It's a shame, because it was a campsite with a lot of potential and with the affection of those of us who have been repeating for years."

Hello! I have been this weekend on the bike and I have to tell you that it is very expensive because they had no restaurant and especially my complaint is that you do not think of buying anything in the supermarket they have is tiny and abusing prices. 1 bottle of milk and a packet of Marcilla coffee 10,50€ they charged me when I was leaving because if you tell me the price before I would not have taken it. I complained to the employee and he told me that the prices are set by the boss.
