You stay in a sunny clearing with the forest as your closest neighbour – no passing traffic, just birdsong, rustling trees and real peace and quiet. Yet you’re still close to a main road, so the cabin is easy to find and you never feel completely cut off.

The cabin is made for couples who want to slow down and enjoy nature. Step inside and you’ll find a practical kitchen with a gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and even a small dishwasher, so you spend less time doing dishes and more time relaxing. There’s a cosy dining table where you can enjoy long breakfasts or a glass of wine in the evening.

The bedroom has a snug 140 cm double bed – perfect for curling up together after a day outside. In the living room you can sink into the comfy sofa, watch your favourite series via the TV with Chromecast, or simply enjoy the crackling wood-burning stove on cooler evenings. The bathroom is fully equipped with a shower, combustion toilet, washbasin and washing machine, so longer stays are just as comfortable as a weekend away.

Outside, a private terrace invites you to sit in the sun, read a book or listen to the sounds of the forest. In the storage room you’ll find a portable grill – ideal for a relaxed BBQ on a warm summer night. Travelling with a little one? There’s a travel cot and a clip-on high chair available on request, so you don’t have to bring everything from home.

Right from the door you can wander into the forest to pick berries and mushrooms in season, and with a bit of luck you might spot elk or deer passing by. The scenic Furufjäll exercise trail is close by for a refreshing walk or run.

Want a change of scene? In about 15 minutes by car you reach Stenungsund, with shops, restaurants and beaches. From here you’re also close to the West Coast islands of Tjörn and Orust, famous for art, charming coastal villages and cliffside swimming. Nature lovers can explore the Svartedalen wilderness area, about 25 minutes away, with its lakes, hiking trails and deep tranquillity. Nearby lakes like Håltesjön and Stora Hällungen are perfect for swimming, paddling or fishing, and there are several cosy farm shops and cafés in the area.
