General information

Planning a getaway with your favourite people? Meadow Glamping Tents in Swannington is made for groups. Tucked away in a peaceful Norfolk hamlet, this exclusive glamping meadow sleeps up to 12 guests across three stylish bell tents – perfect for friends, two families travelling together, or a special celebration.

You’ll stay in The Bulrush, Lilypad and Iris: three cosy 5-metre bell tents, each with a proper wooden bed frame and a comfy double bed. Coir matting, soft rugs, chairs and bedside tables give every tent a warm, homely feel. Need more sleeping space? Each tent can fit two extra guests on single airbeds with bedding, so everyone in your group has a place to crash after a laid-back evening under the stars.

Each tent has its own private bathroom on the two-acre meadow, so you don’t have to share with other guests. A converted shepherd’s hut nearby houses three private toilets and showers, right by the old stables. No queues, no hassle – just hot showers and plenty of privacy.

Cooking together is easy here. There’s a covered outdoor cooking area with a picnic bench, camping gas cooker, barbecue and all the basic kitchen gear you need. Fire up the BBQ, share a long dinner outside and linger over a drink while the sun goes down. In the old stables you’ll find a pot-wash area, table and chairs, electric points for phone charging, plus a fridge and small freezer to keep your food and drinks cold.

The setting is classic Norfolk countryside: a pretty village green, a thatched pump, a stream and a lovely church just a short stroll away. It’s quiet, green and peaceful – ideal if you want to slow down, catch up and actually spend time together. Fresh bread, milk and other essentials are available to buy on-site, and depending on the season you might be able to pick up eggs from local hens and produce from the garden.

Meadow Glamping Tents is pet-friendly too, so your dog doesn’t have to miss out on the adventure. With parking on-site, a spacious garden-meadow and plenty of room to spread out, this is a relaxed rural base for your next group escape. Pack your wellies, towels and a torch, and get ready for campfire chats, long walks and easygoing glamping in the Norfolk countryside.
