It feels wonderfully remote, but you’re still only around 10 km from the nearest beach and within easy reach of lively coastal towns like Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea. London is about 122 km away, so it’s an ideal escape from the city for a long weekend or a laid-back holiday with your group.

Inside, Five Waterings is simple, comfortable and made for hanging out together. There are three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two with single beds, sleeping up to 6 guests in total. Whether you’re travelling as a group of friends or a small family, everyone has their own cosy spot to relax after a day of exploring.

The bright open-plan kitchen and living area is the social heart of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking together is easy – from lazy breakfasts to simple dinners with a glass of local wine.
