    Wij verbleven dit weekend in de ‘sweet cabin’ in Warredal. Het is volledig zoals omschreven: back to nature, geen wifi, geen gehaast, tijd om te vertragen. Ik kan alleen maar zeggen: HEERLIJK! En een super net verblijf, met heel vriendelijk personeel. Wij zijn volledig zen! Ook iedereen dat er verbleef omarmde de rust en de stilte, je merkte amper dat er nog mensen waren (en die waren er zeker). Als je buiten keek zag je plots kindjes voorbij komen op pony’s. Heerlijk toch? Wij hadden zelf geen activiteiten/eten bij geboekt omdat we de omgeving zijn gaan verkennen. Op +/-3,5km heb je oud oteren (lunch/diner) en bakkerij Buntinx (kan je ook ontbijten, ook brunchen op zondag al kan dat wel prijzig zijn). We zijn een fietstocht gaan doen van 65km in de omgeving (waarvan 90% autovrije zone was of veldwegen waar amper verkeer was). En een wandeling in Ter hills van 10km. Maar evengoed zagen de faciliteiten op het domein er heel leuk uit, zeker het klimparcour. Een echte aanrader voor kids! Als ik een puntje van verbetering kan geven dan miste wij misschien ‘s avonds iets op het domein om een drankje te slaan etc. Maar dat is natuurlijk een persoonlijke mening! Want we zouden zo terug gaan! Het enige dat ons een klein beetje stoorde was de afvoer. ‘S nachts/‘s avonds laat begonnen de leidingen ‘leeg te trekken?’, veel lawaai te maken. Waarschijnlijk doordat iemand in de cabin achter ons nog een douche nam. Dit bleef wel eventjes duren, maar als ik daar de gouden tip mag geven: zet even je kraantje open en het geluid was instant weg. Maar ook dit is evenzeer muggenziften. Ik kan echt iedereen dit verblijf aanraden!!! Als het tijd is om te vertragen, te ontstressen, te deconecteren.. boek dan zeker je verblijf! Ps: zie foto’s voor ons verblijf. Er was ook een kleine koelkast aanwezig, handig!

  1. Are dogs allowed at the park?

    There is a maximum of 1 dog per cabin (for a small fee per night) Please note:only the Classic Cabins and standard Treetrunks allow dogs to stay. Dogs are not allowed in the seat/bed.

  2. Is there wifi on the property and in the accommodations?

    At Warrendal Recreation Domain, a conscious decision was made not to install Wifi in the cabins, as this is not part of their philosophy. The only places on the domain with wifi connection are the meeting locations and the reception area.

  3. Is there a (camping) store on site?

    At the reception there is an opportunity to buy some local organic products, including ground coffee, milk, local wine and some other staples.

  4. Is barbecuing allowed?

    Each cabin has a gas barbecue available on the terrace. You can either bring your own meat and vegetables or you can order a barbecue package with your reservation. This package includes different kinds of meat, all kinds of salads, sauces and sandwiches.

    Please note that packages are delivered on Monday, Thursday or Saturday.

  5. Is there a restaurant available?

    Warredal does not have its own catering facilities. However, you can always order a breakfast basket or a barbecue package. And there are nice restaurants nearby.

  6. Where is the nearest supermarket?

    The Spar and Delhaize are located in Neeroeteren center about a 5-minute drive from the property.

  7. What are the check-in and check-out times?

    You can check in from 3:00 pm. You must check out by 10:30.

  8. Can I rent a bicycle?

    Yes, there is bicycle rental.
