General information

The Modus Wellness 2 is reminiscent of a luxury hotel room with wonderful wellness facilities. The detached chalet is ground floor and suitable for 2 persons. The living-bedroom is warmly decorated and you will find a double bed, a sitting area with television, a bathtub, spacious shower, sink and sauna as well as a dining area and a kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator and filter coffee maker. Modus Wellness 2 has a separate toilet. There is no air conditioning in the chalet. You can park 1 car at the chalet and you can use the free wifi.

Your booked accommodation has a Comfort Package with extras! That means your beds are made upon arrival, there is a set of towels and kitchen towels, a bathroom set with slippers & a bathrobe and a coffee and tea package.

Please note, it is not possible to place a cot/camping bed in the accommodation.

What you should know about the park

EuroParcs Hoge Kempen is beautifully located in Belgian Limburg, on the edge of the Hoge Kempen National Park and just across the Dutch border, close to Maastricht. Enjoy a relaxing vacation in the beautiful countryside abroad. What makes this region special are the challenging biking and hiking trails. There is a spray park and a miniature golf course for extra entertainment. As icing on the cake, you can use the nearby swimming pools for free.

    A beautiful park with nice accommodations. There’s a nice swimming pool across the street for 5 euros per stay.
    The surrounding area is wonderful for biking.

    We found out just before departure that our cottage didn’t have air conditioning. It’s a shame I hadn’t noticed this sooner. I called to ask about our options—such as a portable air conditioner—but was told that wasn’t possible. We could have switched to a cottage with air conditioning for an additional fee, but we didn’t want to do that because we had specifically chosen a baby cottage (with the benefits of the baby-friendly furnishings).

    After a few days at the park, we were surprised to see that our new neighbors did receive a portable air conditioner. I called the front desk again, but was told that the portable air conditioners were “out of stock,” even though we’d previously been told this wasn’t an option at all. They couldn’t do anything else for us.
    It’s very hot in the cottage, so sleeping with a baby in this cottage at these temperatures is not recommended.

    This feels like poor (internal) communication, and it’s a shame that nowhere does it mention that a portable air conditioner can be booked as an add-on. The park and the cottages are beautiful, but the communication, proactivity, and helpfulness of the staff really leave much to be desired.

    We kwamen er vlak voor vertrek achter dat ons huisje geen airco had. Jammer dat dit mij niet eerder opgevallen was. Ik belde om te vragen naar de mogelijkheden, bijvoorbeeld een mobiele airco, maar kreeg te horen dat dit niet mogelijk was. Omboeken naar een huisje mét airco kon wel, tegen meerprijs, maar dat wilden we niet omdat we bewust voor een baby cottage hadden gekozen (met de voordelen van de baby inrichting).

    Na een paar dagen op het park zagen we tot onze verbazing dat onze nieuwe buren wél een mobiele airco kregen. Ik belde opnieuw met de receptie, maar kreeg te horen dat de mobiele airco’s “op” waren, terwijl eerder was gezegd dat dit überhaupt geen optie was. Ze konden verder niets voor ons betekenen.
    Het is erg warm in het huisje, slapen met een baby in dit huisje, met deze temperaturen, is dan ook niet aan te raden.

    Dit voelt als slechte (interne) communicatie en het is jammer dat nergens staat dat een mobiele airco bij te boeken is. Het park en de huisjes zijn mooi, maar de communicatie, het meedenken en de behulpzaamheid van het personeel laten echt te wensen over.

    Odalar temiz. Klima olması çok iyi. Televizyonda birçok dilde yayın seçeneği mevcut. Mutfakta her türlü mutfak eşyası mevcut. Havlu yok. Tesise gitmeden önce mail atmamıza rağmen geri dönüş yapılmadı. Tesisin girişinde çocuklar için spray park var. Karşısında havuz var. Havuz için ekstra ücret ödemeniz gerekiyor. Tesisin içinde çocuklar için birkaç oyun parkı var.
