A very nice, well-kept campsite, modern and clean sanitary facilities, beautifully situated on the river. The area is ideal for walking and for a trip to Durbuy. The staff are friendly and there were no complications with us arriving late at night when the review was no longer occupied. The only drawback is the shower cards that you have to charge for 30 cents a minute, for me the water took some time to get warm. Nevertheless, the place is a recommendation.

My friend had arranged this accommodation for my birthday for 1 night because we were going to do an activity nearby the day after. The location is good, nice along a river, walking distance from durbuy, neat place. We stayed in a bell tent. At check in we were asked if we brought bedding. No. My friend had not read anything about this when booking. Since we wanted a nice day and we are not sure if we missed the fine print on booking.com. we just rented bedding for 20euro. Regretted it in retrospect. The tent is neat except for some spik. In front of the tent is a terrace with two chairs. Unfortunately completely covered with leaves would have been nice and made us feel welcome if they had swept them away. Outside the tent is no light so when it is dark early you sit outside the tent in the dark. Tip hang some lights that you can turn on. We had to rent the bed linen for 20 euros but pillow and comforter was in the tent. However also with a little black spik on it. Probably due to the humidity in the tent there is in fact no heating . On the photos on booking.com you see a made bed with small heater. There is no indication anywhere that you have to pay extra for the stove and bedding. On the toilets is no toilet paper available and you get also not offered in the tent where you pay almost 80 euros per night. This was a first time on a glamping for us so we didn't know what to expect. It would be neat if it was mentioned on booking.com that bedding, use of the showers and a stove in the tent have to be paid extra for and the cost of these. Now they are presented on the photos as if they are included. If this had been clearly stated I would have left with a different feeling and just brought my own comforter without spik and stove. Now I feel a bit ripped off by this. You book accommodation on booking.com with pictures of a tent with bedding and stove but don't get what is offered!!! Then just put pictures on it of what people actually get when bookingrn or include a disclaimer that bedding and stove must be rented. Now it feels like a ploy to generate extra revenue.

The campsite is located in a magnificent setting, just a few minutes' walk from the station and the centers of Barvaux and Bomal. The team is very welcoming and attentive to customer needs. For my part, I rented a night in a tipi tent and it was exceptional, with a comfortable bed and enough space in the tent for 2 people. I highly recommend it! 😄
