It’s truly an outdoor campground—bring your own toilet paper, and showers are minimal.
The number of restrooms is a bit on the sparse side.
This is also due to the decision to combine the toilet and shower in a single stall.

The showers are either cold, or there are so many people in line that you sometimes have to wait anywhere from 40 minutes to half an hour. Also, some showers have a trickle that’s barely worth calling a shower, but you still pay 6 cents per minute. That’s the only downside.

A campground in a nice location on the Ourthe River.
However, the campground feels a lot like a rather noisy festival campground. There’s virtually no privacy, and no hedges or barriers between the—admittedly spacious—camping sites.

The additional restroom building is a disaster. The water is sporadically warm and there’s almost no water. Just a trickle. Showers cost a pretty penny—€0.30 per minute—using a card you have to load in advance. You don’t get a refund for unused credit, which is questionable. There’s also no toilet paper or hand soap available.

In the main restroom building, right next to the sinks where you brush your teeth, there are waterless urinals. This gives off a very pungent odor in the evening.
The park was also hit by a power outage on Saturday. It seems that the water and electrical systems aren’t designed to handle the number of guests.

The restaurant is quite pricey, but the chef does a great job of serving high-quality food.

Tip for the owners: Camp at the campground yourselves every now and then and experience it as the guests do.
