From your front door you walk straight into the forest – it’s only 100 metres away. A quiet lake lies just 1 km from the house, ideal for an early-morning walk, a picnic by the water or simply unwinding in the fresh air. Nearby you’ll find the Barrage de Nisramont, a great area for hiking along the reservoir and kayaking on the water. Fancy some culture and history? The medieval Château de La Roche-en-Ardenne and the Musée de la Bataille des Ardennes are close by and bring the region’s past vividly to life. Animal lovers can visit Le Parc à Gibier, where you can spot local wildlife in a beautiful natural setting.
Inside, La Bressine feels warm and welcoming. The living room has a fireplace where you can curl up after a day outside, with a book or a glass of wine. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, and private parking right by the house makes your stay even more relaxed.
Outside, you can enjoy the peace of the Ardennes in your own garden. Have breakfast on the terrace, read a book in the sun or enjoy a long dinner at the garden table as the sun sets behind the trees. Within about 12 km you’ll find several nice restaurants, such as Restaurant Moulin de la Strument, La Plume D’Oie and Signe Jeanne, where you can taste local Belgian and French dishes.

We had a super nice vacation. The cottage is simple but that's all we needed. The firepit was very nice and the river nearby was also very nice, especially for the kids: if you walk up the small road below the house, past the brambles and nettles (long pants is not a luxury ;-) ) then you come to a lovely piece where we as parents could read under the trees in the shade while the children played in the river. The road you hear well but I did not find it very disturbing. The kids slept great in the bunk bed, we a little less, the double bed was really hard.
