Looking for a cosy base for your next trip with friends? Happiness is a charming wooden holiday home in the green Ardennes, in the village of Vencimont (Namur). This cabin is perfect for up to 6 people and combines warm, rustic vibes with modern comfort.

Inside you’ll find a snug living area where you can relax together after a day outside. Light the pellet stove, sink into the sofa and put on a movie on the smart TV. The fully equipped kitchenette has everything you need to cook shared dinners, including a dishwasher, so nobody gets stuck with the washing up.

The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it ideal for couples travelling together or a group of friends who appreciate a bit of privacy and comfort. Big plus: you have your own terrace with water views – the perfect spot for a slow morning coffee, an afternoon drink or a late-night chat under the stars.

You’re surrounded by forests and rolling hills in the beautiful Houille Valley, a great region for hiking and biking. The Arboretum de Gedinne is only 11 km away and offers peaceful trails through impressive woodland. Back at your cabin you can unwind in complete tranquillity, far from the city rush.

Foodies are in the right place here too. Within walking distance you’ll find tasty local options like “Au Bonheur à 4 Mains”, “Le Relais Gourmand” and “La Friterie du Relais Gourmand” for a relaxed Belgian snack. Don’t skip the Moulin de Vencimont bakery, known for its bread and pastries made with natural, local flour.

Fancy a day trip? Explore the spectacular Domaine des Grottes de Han caves (27 km) or step back in time at the Musée de la vie paysanne et des métiers oubliés (27 km). The Euro Space Center (38 km) is also within reach, with interactive exhibits about space and astronaut life.
