    Cancellation Policy


    In case of full or partial cancellation, possible only by mail or letter (receipt date = cancellation date), the following fees will be charged:

    • Up to and including 57 days before the beginning of the stay period: €50 per file.
    • From 56 to 43 days before the beginning of the stay: 25% of the rent with a minimum of € 50.
    • From 42 to 22 days before the beginning of the period of stay: 50% of the rent with a minimum of € 50.
    • From 21 to 8 days before the beginning of the stay: 75% of the rent with a minimum of € 50.
    • In case of cancellation 7 days or less before the beginning of the stay, as well as in case of no arrival: the full rent with a minimum of € 50.
    • In case of non-arrival without notice, the reserved place/lodge will be kept free until 1 night later than announced: the following day the place/lodge will be relet. No sum will be refunded in case of "no show", whatever the reason may be.

    This is our third year coming here (two years through Kustpark Strand Westende) and now our first year through Compass Camping Westende. We’re still very satisfied with the campground itself—it’s quiet and clean, just like in previous years!! What did disappoint us upon arrival, however, was the dirty condition of our comfort lodge! We found food scraps on the floor, on the baseboards, and on the radiator left behind by the previous guests! The toilet had a strong urine odor, and in both the toilet and the bathroom, our feet stuck to the floor!!! Out of sheer frustration, I ended up mopping the floor myself on the day we arrived and had to change the water four times because it was literally black 🤢🤮. I think that for a mandatory cleaning fee of 70 euros per booking, it really should be spotless!!!! You could really tell it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while! Such a shame, because this wasn’t cheap!

    3de jaar dat we hier komen ( 2 jaar via kustpark strand westende ) en nu 1ste jaar via compass camping westende , over de camping zelf nog steeds heel tevreden , rustig en proper zoals vorige jaren !! Waar wij wel in teleurgesteld waren bij aankomst was de vuile staat van onze comfort lodge ! Wij vonden nog etensresten op de grond , op de plinten en aan de verwarming van de vorige verblijvers ! De toilet had een sterke urine geur , en in de toilet en de badkamer plakte onze voeten aan de grond !!! Ik heb dags van aankomst uit pure frustratie zelf nog staan dweilen en heb 4 keer mijn water moeten verversen omdat het gewoonweg zwart zag 🤢🤮ik vind dat het voor 70 euro verplichte poetskost per boeking danook echt perfeckt in order zou mogen zijn !!!! Nu zag je echt dat het al effe nie goed gepoetst was ! Heel jammer want dit was niet goedkoop !

    This place is worth 4 stars 🌟—it’s gorgeous, clean, quiet, and full of play areas for kids, including water fountains that the kids love. The streets are very clean and well-organized, with a very large restroom area for men’s and women’s toilets and showers, plus a separate room for baby baths—no need for change, just enough time to wash up. Toilet paper is provided, and in the center there are beautiful, very clean sinks for washing dishes—I can’t believe how luxurious this campground is; I recommend it to everyone.

    Ce lieu vaux 4 étoile 🌟 superbe propre calme pleine de jeux pour enfant avec des jets d'eau les enfants adorent. Les rue très propres très bien organisé une très grande salle pour wc douche homme femme et un plus local pour baignoire bébé pas besoin de monnaie juste le temps de se laver. wc papier fourni et au centre des beaux évier très propre pour la vaisselle je n'en reviens pas de ce campings luxueux je le recommande à tout le monde

    The campground has gone downhill quite a bit. Just 1 shower and 2 toilets (smelling of urine) for 100 sites. Only 2 dishwashing stations, and not even room for a small handbag. 41€ per night with the Pasar discount! The fry shop is closed all season. Indoor playground closed....
