    Cancellation Policy


    If guests must cancel their stay due to a pandemic, the stay can be rebooked to a later date at no charge. This rebooking is not limited in time. If guests have to cancel their stay for any other reason, they have the option of transferring the reservation to someone else free of charge. In case of no show, only the cleaning fee (€150) will be refunded.

    Therefore, there are no rates where cancellations can be made free of charge. If the bookers are forced to cancel, the park may look at a free rebooking, provided they still manage to re-rent the cancelled period.

    No, it's a car-free site. So you cannot drive up to the cabin to load or unload, but at each cabin there is an electric cargo bike that can be used to load and unload all the luggage.

  2. Are bicycles available at the accommodation?

    Next to each cabin there is a bike shed containing an electric cargo bike and two regular bikes.

  3. Are dogs welcome?

    Yes, dogs are welcome.

  4. Do you have to pay for the wellness?

    No, use of the wellness island is free. Guests can book the island every day of their stay for an hour and a half. For this purpose, a booking module will be forwarded on the day of arrival.

    On the wellness island you will find a sauna with panorama window, an outdoor shower with dump bucket, access to the swimming pond, a relaxation area with pizza oven and a water fountain. Special towels are provided in the cabin. You may enter the sauna with or without swimwear.

  5. Are products present in the kitchen?

    Yes, there are coffee beans, tea, oil, salt and pepper, and dishwasher tablets, among others.

  6. Are there any products present in the bathroom?

    Yes, shower gel and shampoo are provided. There is also toilet paper, a hair dryer and bath linens.

  7. Are you allowed to barbecue?

    Yes, and there is a Bastard barbecue at every cabin.

    How much we enjoyed this magical place. We were amazed from the first moment when you arrive along the small gate, it is like entering another world. A world of tranquility in nature. Everything felt like pure indulgence, from the wellness island to the hidden swings and fresh chicken eggs. The pink library is a hoot, and the little store a bliss for goestingskes. The bakery is a great place to hang out with a drink and the day's newspaper. Everything here is taken care of to perfection, nothing is left to chance. Chapeau, we felt bien soignée here ❤️.     Wat hebben wij genoten van deze magische plek. We hebben ons laten verwonderen vanaf het eerste moment wanneer je toekomt langs het kleine poortje, het is alsof je in een andere wereld terecht komt. Een wereld van rust in de natuur. Alles voelde als pure verwennerij, van het welnesseiland tot de verborgen schommels en de verse kippeneitjes. De pink library is een schot in de roos, en het winkeltje een zaligheid voor goestingskes. In the bakery is het heerlijk vertoeven met een drankje en de krant van de dag.     We look back on a totally relaxing three days at Les Cabanes! The beach hike took us via surprising hiking routes to places on the coast we never saw before. The route itself was easy to follow thanks to a handy Polar watch. Also, the Instax devices you get to take with you are a super idea. Nice to be able to ignore your phone for a while and cozy to select the prints at night by a fire. Also very good food, both before, during, in between and after the walk. The Bakery is a super concept! When we arrived at the cabin, we felt very much that everything was right: we arrived in a warm, beautiful and practical cabin where everything had been thought of, in the best and most beautiful version. We could recover blissfully from all the miles in the sauna, hot tub or during the massage. Heads completely empty, hearts full. Hope to see you again next time Youri & co!

    Wij kijken helemaal ontspannen terug op een heerlijke driedaagse in Les Cabanes! De beach hike bracht ons via verrassende wandelroutes naar plaatsen aan de kust die we nooit eerder zagen. De route zelf was gemakkelijk om te volgen dankzij een handige Polar watch. Ook de Instax toestellen die je meekrijgt, zijn een super idee. Leuk om zo je telefoon even te kunnen negeren en gezellig om 's avonds bij een vuurtje de prints te selecteren. Ook heel lekker gegeten, zowel voor, tijdens, tussendoor als na de wandeling. The Bakery is een super concept! Bij aankomst in de cabane hadden we heel erg het gevoel dat alles klopte: we arriveerden in een warme, mooie en praktische cabine waar aan alles was gedacht, in de beste en mooiste versie. We konden er zalig bekomen van alle kilometers in de sauna, hot tub of tijdens de massage. Hoofdjes helemaal leeg, hartjes vol. Heel graag tot een volgende keer Youri & co!

    Highly recommended. Youri, the host, gave us a very warm welcome in his green gem that exudes nothing but tranquility. We enjoyed the sauna, the swimming pond, the stove , the well-equipped cabins, the blissful (baking) bike ride to the beach and so much more. A weekend was too short to discover everything, we will definitely come back 😉

    Een absolute aanrader. Youri, de gastheer, heeft ons zeer warm onthaald in zijn groene parel die alleen maar rust uitstraalt. Wij hebben genoten van de sauna, de zwemvijver, de kachel , de goed uitgeruste cabines, de zalige (bak)fietstocht naar het strand en zo veel meer. Een weekend was te kort om alles te ontdekken, wij komen zeker terug 😉

    A very nice stay! An oasis of calm in the city outskirts of Ostend within walking distance of the beach. Everything was perfect. Very nice cabin with all comfort: well-equipped kitchen, nice bed, really everything to make your stay pleasant. We were also very fond of the breakfast basket that you can pick up in the morning at The Bakery. We really enjoyed our stay.
