    If guests must cancel their stay due to a pandemic, the stay can be rebooked to a later date at no charge. This rebooking is not limited in time. If guests have to cancel their stay for any other reason, they have the option of transferring the reservation to someone else free of charge. In case of no show, only the cleaning fee (€150) will be refunded.

    Therefore, there are no rates where cancellations can be made free of charge. If the bookers are forced to cancel, the park may look at a free rebooking, provided they still manage to re-rent the cancelled period.

    No, it's a car-free site. So you cannot drive up to the cabin to load or unload, but at each cabin there is an electric cargo bike that can be used to load and unload all the luggage.

  2. Are bicycles available at the accommodation?

    Next to each cabin there is a bike shed containing an electric cargo bike and two regular bikes.

  3. Do you have to pay for the wellness?

    No, use of the wellness island is free. Guests can book the island every day of their stay for an hour and a half. For this purpose, a booking module will be forwarded on the day of arrival.

    On the wellness island you will find a sauna with panorama window, an outdoor shower with dump bucket, access to the swimming pond, a relaxation area with pizza oven and a water fountain. Special towels are provided in the cabin. You may enter the sauna with or without swimwear.

  4. Are products present in the kitchen?

    Yes, there are coffee beans, tea, oil, salt and pepper, and dishwasher tablets, among others.

  5. Are there any products present in the bathroom?

    Yes, shower gel and shampoo are provided. There is also toilet paper, a hair dryer and bath linens.

  6. Are you allowed to barbecue?

    Yes, and there is a Bastard barbecue at every cabin.

    We spent a week in Ostend as a family (with two children). The complex is beautifully landscaped and designed, and the houses are well-planned and furnished to a high standard. The beach house is practical and comes with a wide selection of beach gear. Unfortunately, its current condition no longer matches the photos on the website. Unfortunately, the vacation home wasn’t cleaned well (spiderwebs everywhere, dirty windows, stains on the couch, and mold in the bathroom). On the first day, we shared our concerns, and it was cleaned again. Unfortunately, the bicycles were in such poor condition that it wasn’t enjoyable at all to use the cargo bike (squeaking, chain coming off).
    If the resort were in good shape, we’re sure we’d feel very comfortable here. Unfortunately, the price doesn’t justify the overall impression, which is why we won’t be returning.

    Wir haben eine Woche in Oostende als Familie verbracht (2 Kinder). Die Anlage ist schön angelegt und gestaltet, die Häuser auch durchdacht und hochwertig ausgestattet. Das Strandhaus ist praktisch und verfügt über eine große Auswahl an Strandequipment. Leider entspricht der aktuelle Zustand nicht mehr den Bildern auf der Homepage. Das Ferienhaus war leider nicht gut gereinigt ( überall Spinnenweben, dreckige Fenster, Flecken auf der Couch und Schimmel im Bad) Am ersten Tag schilderten wir unseren Eindruck und es wurde nochmal gereinigt. Die Fahrräder waren leider in so einem schlechten Zustand, das es gar keine Freude gemacht hat das Lastenrad zu nutzen ( quietschen, Kette rausgesprungen)
    Wäre die Anlage gut in Schuss würde man sich hier sicher sehr wohl fühlen. Der Preis rechtfertigt leider nicht den Gesamteindruck, weshalb wir leider nicht wiederkommen.

    We spent really nice time in Les Cabanes Ostende! It’s cozy, clean and also a little bit fancy place. All zones are fun and creative, and we liked breakfast, so many different tasty food in cute basket. Thank you!
