General information

Glamping vacations are becoming increasingly popular and this is reflected in the number of bookings. Yet it is not new: the trend came over from Africa several years ago. A wealthy man wanted to become one with the beautiful African nature during his safari, but did not want to give up the luxury he was so used to. The "safari tent" was born. Camping in the great outdoors, but with an equipped kitchen, your own toilet and shower and a comfortable bed instead of an inflatable mattress.

In addition to a toilet and shower, the safari tent bathroom is also equipped with a cozy kitchen, table, chairs and a closet for all your vacation outfits.

Six sleeping places are standard in this luxury safari tent: 1x double bed and two very sturdy bunk beds. Comforters and pillows are of course standard when you go glamping. Under sheets, comforter covers and pillowcases you have to bring your own or can easily be rented. You can also rent the baby kit, consisting of a safe crib and a sturdy high chair.

This sturdy safari tent has a wooden veranda and a luxurious lounge set under a spacious awning, so you can sit outside regardless of the weather. The canvas between the veranda and the living area can be partially or completely raised as you wish, creating even more living space: maximum enjoyment of the outdoors while still covered. Enjoy the peace and quiet of Croatian nature with a nice glass of wine and a book. And all that without having to cross the campsite with that eternal toilet roll under your arm!

    Reservations can only be cancelled in writing.

    Cancellation fees:

    • For cancellations up to 60 days prior to arrival, no fee will be charged.
    • Cancellations between 60 and 28 days prior to arrival in the accommodation will be charged 60% of the travel fee.
    • Cancellations between 27 and 1 day before arrival in the tent will be charged 90% of the travel price.
    • Cancellations on the day of arrival at the accommodation will be charged in full.

    For changes made within 5 days of the booking date, the costs as stated in article 3 paragraph 1 may be waived by agreement

    The main booker can request changes to reservations up to 8 weeks before arrival at the accommodation. The change fee, if agreed, is €25.

    Changes involving partial cancellation are subject to the cancellation conditions for that part.

    If the reserved period is extended during the stay at the campsite, you must pay for the additional stay at the campsite, according to the prices listed on the website. No claim can be made to any offers.

    We recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance at the time of booking. The premium is 5.5% of the travel sum, € 3.50 policy cost and 21% insurance tax (on premium and policy cost).

    The following payment terms are applicable

    • Your deposit when booking is only 20% (payable within 7 days of booking).
    • 56 days before arrival you only need to pay the remaining payment (80%).
    • Important: when booking within 60 days before arrival at the accommodation, the entire travel sum must be paid immediately.

    The campsite is located right by the sea and offers plenty of entertainment for those who like it. Some of the pitches are very overgrown (as of the end of April) and mostly uneven in the sense of "wavy". It is also surprising that there is no water at every pitch or at least at the end of the row. This is no longer standard. I didn't take a badge, which was advertised to me as access to the pool and shopping, as I was only staying one night. However, I didn't know that the badge would have been needed for showering in my nearest washroom. So I had to walk a little further to the next one. The showers are moderately clean and still have cobwebs from the winter. The place can't do much about the guests' mess. The WLAN worked badly at my pitch of all places. It didn't work inside anyway. In short: I would have expected more for a 4* campsite. Especially as I didn't use 3/4 of the facilities.

    Der Campingplatz liegt direkt am Meer und bietet viel Animation, für wen das taugt. Die Stellplätze sind teils arg überwuchert (Stand Ende April) und meist uneben im Sinne von "wellig". Auch ist es erstaunlich, dass kein Wasser an jedem Stellplatz oder zumindest zum Ende der Reihe ist. Das ist nicht mehr Standard. Ich habe keinen Badge übernommen, der er mir als Zutritt für den Pool und Einkäufe angepriesen wurde, da ich nur eine Nacht geblieben bin. Dass genau der Badge allerdings bei meinem nächstgelegenen Sanitärraum zum Duschen nötig gewesen wäre, wusste ich nicht. Also musste ich etwas weiter laufen zum nächsten. Die Duschen sind mässig sauber und weisen noch Spinnweben vom Winter auf. Für die Unordnung der Gäste kann der Platz wenig. Das WLAN hat ausgerechnet bei meinem Stellplatz schlecht funktioniert. Im Innern dann eh nicht mehr. Kurz und gut: Für einen 4*-Camping hätte ich mehr erwartet. Insbesondere da ich 3/4 des Angebotes gar nicht nutzte.

    Kamp Maravea nas je tudi to sezono navdušil! Čeprav je bil danes prvi dan odprtja, je bilo vse odlično pripravljeno – čistoča, urejenost, prijazno osebje in prijeten ambient, kot smo ga vajeni. Vse deluje brezhibno, kar res pohvalimo. Z veseljem se vračamo in priporočamo naprej!

    Wir sind gerade im Campingplatz Maravea in den Luxury Mare zone und ich muss sagen, dass dieses Erlebnis einfach fantastisch ist! Die Hütte ist perfekt am Ufer gelegen und der Meerblick ist einfach atemberaubend. Jeden Morgen, wenn wir aufwachen, fühlen wir uns wie im Paradies. Die Sauberkeit des Platzes ist makellos, was uns wirklich viel bedeutet, und das Personal ist extrem freundlich und immer bereit zu helfen. Hier ist wirklich alles so gestaltet, dass man sich wohl und entspannt fühlt. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, der Ruhe, Natur und exzellenten Service!

    A wonderful campsite, if you have something in your pocket there are lots of things to do. There is one star less because the pitches are uneven and sometimes very narrow, so a little tip: pay attention to the dimensions, whether you are with a caravan or motorhome with a tent or without.     Ein wunderschöner Campingplatz, wenn man was in der Tasche hat gibt es viele Möglichkeiten was zu unternehmen. Es gibt ein Stern weniger da die Plätze unebenen sind und teilweise sehr eng, also kleiner Tipp: achtet auf Maß, ob ihr mit Wohnwagen oder Wohnmobil mit Zelt oder ohne. Es gibt hier alles, theoretisch braucht man gar nicht raus fahren.
