Campingplätze waren eigentlich nie unser Ding, aber dann.....

Das 3. Jahr in Folge bewohnen wir nun in den Sommerferien ein Mobilheim (mit Klima) auf diesem tollen Campingplatz.

Für Familien & auch Hunde wird hier so einiges geboten.
Tolle gepflegte Anlage.

Die Waschhäuser sind so modern & neu, dass wir teils auf unser eigenes Mobilheim-Badezimmer verzichtet haben.

Annoying and far too tight payment deadlines set by Adria Camps in advance. You’re supposed to transfer the payment by 7:00 p.m., otherwise the reservation will be canceled.
My request to be able to park near my dad’s spot wasn’t granted either.
The location is excellent. Right on the water, and there are plenty of options and spaces on the campground to keep busy, go out to eat, or pass the time.
For this price, the mobile home (Gebetsreuther) is a joke. Zero comfort and incredibly cramped. There isn’t even room to unpack your suitcases, even though it’s supposed to accommodate 6 people! How are 6 people supposed to fit in there? The four of us barely had enough space. No shelves to put things on. The bathroom stinks like a public restroom.

Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this campground.

Even the check-in area was completely overcrowded and seemed very chaotic. I would like to give a special mention, however, to the friendly staff member at the information desk. We had arrived without a reservation and asked for an available campsite for three nights. The conversation started in English, but it later turned out that she also spoke German. She found us two available spots, including one right by the sea. She quoted us a total price of €93 for two adults for this spot. She also explicitly explained that our three-year-old daughter stayed for free, since children under 4 don’t pay. Since we were just happy to have gotten a spot at 4:30 p.m. at all, we accepted the offer immediately. The employee also told us we could pay the bill on another day.

Then, the day before our departure, came the big surprise. When I went to pay the bill, I was suddenly charged a significantly higher amount. I politely asked the employee to double-check the transaction, since we had clearly been promised €93 upon arrival. At first, they even charged us for our three-year-old daughter—even though we had been explicitly told that children under 4 stay for free. After consulting with her manager, this error was corrected, but the total price was still significantly higher than the originally agreed-upon 93 €.

The manager then stepped in. Unfortunately, her behavior was extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. She simply explained that the system calculated this price and that she couldn’t change it. She also said that, after all, I couldn’t prove that I had been offered €93 upon arrival. When I pointed out that we had chosen the campsite precisely because of that offer, she reacted with complete lack of understanding. Instead of looking for a customer-oriented solution, she simply said that if I wasn’t happy with the price, I was free to leave today. She then explained that the price might have increased due to the season or occupancy rates.

To me, it’s absolutely unacceptable that a price that was quoted as final would simply be changed retroactively. Even more disappointing, however, was the way we were treated as guests. Mistakes can happen—what matters is how you handle them. Instead of showing understanding or offering a fair solution, we were treated rudely and, in the end, simply told to pay.

It’s a shame, because the campground itself is in a beautiful location. However, due to this experience—and especially because of how the management treated us—we will not be returning to this campground and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it to others.
