Stayed there for three nights. Location is tops but service was very poor. No toiletries (even after requesting they said we will provide but nothing happened. We found some ants on our beds, notified the staff but nobody came to clean up.

Was the ADAC on the take? Where do the stars come from? In general, the site is very spacious and also very nice in itself. The individual pitches offer enough space and are separated by hedges, which provides a nice privacy screen. The staff speak German and English, so communication is good. We ourselves spent an early summer vacation here in May, in a pitch right by the sea. This was shortly before the start of the high season and unfortunately we cannot recommend the site without hesitation - at least in the low season. Of course we can understand if a campsite has a reduced offer when there are only a few guests. But this should be communicated in advance of the booking, at the latest at check-in. Nothing of the sort was done here. Every day you had to check what was open and what was not. The staff only referred questions etc. to the management decision. We did not find this very hospitable. Our complaints (see below) were met with little interest at reception, let alone dealt with. We then left a few days earlier than planned. We noticed the following negative things: 1) Noise For 5 days there were hours of noise from gardening and mowing work. When we arrived the grass was high everywhere, none of the pitches looked really tidy. This was then corrected in preparation for the season. Unfortunately, it was so uncoordinated and disorganized that we were kept on our toes for several days in a row by mowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc. The lunchtime rest requested by the campsite suddenly didn't matter. In the middle of the lunch break, the hedge was trimmed on the plot with petrol hedge trimmers. Our pitch wasn't tidied up in advance either, but during the lunch break. 2) Cleanliness First of all, about half of the sanitary buildings are closed. So run to the next or next but one (5-star...!). The sanitary facilities were simply filthy and some of them remained so for days. Birds fly through and some have built nests on the ceiling. So there is always bird droppings everywhere. Everything in the showers was calcified, walls were dirty, hair in the drain,... 3 shower blocks tested, hardly any difference. The newer shower houses had no birds, but the showers were not clean either. 3) Service and offers We found it a pity that almost everything was closed. The small stands were all closed. Some attractions opened towards the end. But the restaurants were all open. The 2 supermarkets were only open from 8am to 1pm (why not one in the morning and one in the evening?). We were only told to go to the supermarket a 7-minute drive away (okay for us, but of course great for people with a camper van). The service in general was just mass processing and not very welcoming and friendly. 4) The site itself You have to like animals when camping here ;) There were lots of lizards, earwigs, ants and, unfortunately, hundreds of snails (we counted 17 per square meter) when the weather was damp. The many snails were pretty disgusting and the many earwigs were super annoying, especially when packing up. In addition, some of the barbecue stations on the Luxury Mare pitches were not fully equipped (e.g. no barbecue grill) and not very clean.

Wurde der ADAC geschmiert? Wo kommen die Sterne her? Hier erfolgte nichts dergleichen.
