This was our second consecutive year staying at the campground. The facility is really great. The washrooms were clean—no complaints there. For dog owners, I don’t think there’s anything better in Croatia! The Levanda Zone comes highly recommended—the campsites are fantastic. If I had to find a fly in the ointment, it would be that the grass was very tall when we arrived, and no one came to mow it during our entire stay. But in the end, it wasn’t that big of a deal. Keep up the good work—we give you 5 stars.

A fun, beautiful, and (very) large campground. I was extremely surprised by the beauty and cleanliness of the park; the restroom facilities were kept clean all day long. Two fairly large swimming pools—definitely worth a visit. The bread is expensive and not very tasty, but there are four large supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. But that’s just my personal opinion. Otherwise, I highly recommend it if you want to explore Croatia.

We stayed at Camping Park Umag as a family with two children and a dog, and we specifically booked a Lavanda Superior site. Given the category, price, and awards the campground had received, we had correspondingly high expectations. Unfortunately, these expectations weren’t met, so we ended up leaving early.

Our biggest complaint was the feeling that we had to pay extra for almost everything. Even a beach umbrella costs extra. This unfortunately gave us the impression that the campground was trying to make extra money from as many services as possible. We found this particularly disappointing given that we had already booked a higher-priced Superior package.

Overall, the resort also seemed to us to be showing its age in many areas. Despite having booked the Lavanda Superior plot, we lacked privacy, a natural setting, and that special vacation feeling. Many areas were cramped together, and the place felt more like a large, commercial resort than a relaxed campground.

Personally, we couldn’t understand the awards and the very good reputation. Those who enjoy large, lively resorts with plenty of activities will certainly feel at home here—but you really have to like this kind of camping.

We’d like to specifically highlight the staff in a positive light. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. At the same time, some of them seemed a bit tense or even intimidated to us, which left a somewhat strange impression.

Unfortunately, for us, the price, the category we booked, and the actual experience didn’t match up. That’s why we cut our stay short.

Pohvalila bi prijetni animatorki Ivo in Emo, ki sta simpatično vodili otroške aktivnosti ob dnevu kampa, le lokacija, glede na vročino, ni bila ravno posrečena. Bolje bi bilo dve uri aktivnosti organizirati kje v senci, ki je v kampu ne manjka.
Sicer, kot vedno, odlične izkušnje.
Edina slaba le ob odjavi.
Nič kaj prijazna gospa Marina, pri kateri sem bila na recepciji kampa v času odjave edina stranka, brez nikakršne gneče, a kljub temu je varnostniku, ki je prišel po pomoč zaradi izgubljenega malčka ob recepciji, neprijazno odvrnila, da zdaj nima časa za iskanje staršev.
Vse razumem, če je gneča, nepregledne trume turistov...a ne pred mano, ne za mano, ni bilo na njenem odjavnem mestu nikogar...pa tudi če bi jih bilo 100, a ni izgubljeni otrok in iskanje staršev v taki situaciji prioriteta???
Kaj, če bi bil to vaš otrok, gospa Marina?
Vsi imamo kdaj slab dan, vsi, ki delamo z ljudmi, naletimo na take in drugačne stresne situacije, a kljub temu moramo ostati Ljudje!
