General information
At Dom w Rosnowie you stay just 180 metres from the shore of Lake Rosnowskie, surrounded by forests and fresh air in the West Pomeranian region of Poland. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to birdsong, grab your towel or fishing rod and are at the water’s edge within a couple of minutes.
The small, fenced property features three identical, cosy holiday cottages that share the grounds. Each cottage is comfortable and practical, ideal for families, couples or a small group of friends. Inside you’ll find two separate bedrooms, a bright living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the living room there’s a dining table with chairs, a fold-out 2‑seater sofa and a TV. Thanks to the electric heating, the cottage is also pleasant when the evenings get cooler.
Outside, you can relax on your covered terrace, complete with outdoor lounge furniture – perfect for long breakfasts or lazy evenings. There is also a brick barbecue fireplace on the shared grounds, so grilling fresh fish or sausages quickly becomes part of the holiday routine. Bed linen, tourist tax and parking are already included in the price of your stay, so you can arrive and start relaxing straight away.
Lake Rosnowskie is known as a fantastic fishing spot with many different species of fish. If you love being on the water, you’re in the right place: in the area you can rent rowing boats, kayaks and pedal boats, and there is a small sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing. Kids can play safely by the water, while you enjoy the peaceful lake views.
About 400 metres from the cottages you’ll find a year‑round resort with great facilities that you can use for an extra fee: an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi (open in the summer season), a salt cave, sauna, gym, solarium, bar and restaurant. Ideal for a rainy day or a relaxing wellness afternoon.
The surroundings are also worth exploring. Have a look at the impressive hydrotechnical complex of the Rosnowo hydroelectric power plant, including a 10‑metre high dam, or discover the remains of a historic farm complex from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Several cycling routes run through Rosnowo and take you through forests and nearby villages.
Fancy a day by the sea or a bit of city life? The lively seaside town of Mielno is about 30 km away, and in Koszalin (around 20 km) you’ll find shopping centres, supermarkets and plenty of restaurants. Dom w Rosnowie is the perfect base if you want to combine nature, lake activities and day trips to the Baltic coast.
