Looking for a relaxed hideaway for a big group? This spacious holiday home in the Norwegian countryside is perfect for friends who want peace, nature and adventure – with a bit of luxury on top.

The house has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 people, so there’s plenty of room for a group trip or an active getaway with friends. Inside you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, running water and a washing machine – very handy for longer stays. There’s also a highchair for little ones. The cosy living area with fireplace is made for long evenings together, and firewood is free to use.

There’s one bathroom and a separate toilet room with a combustion toilet (no standard WC). It’s simple, practical and fits perfectly with the natural setting of the cabin.

Outside is where this place really shines. Around the house you’ll find about 100 m² of terrace with an outdoor hot tub, several seating areas, a fire pit and a large grill. Ideal for barbecues, drinks under the stars or a relaxing soak in the tub after a long hike. The plot is child-friendly and has a play stand, so kids can safely play while the adults unwind.

Love being active? You’re in the right place. You’ll have a beautiful view of Lake Vostervannet from the cabin, and there are fishing rods available for both lake and sea fishing. For sea fishing at Alsvik, just drive a few minutes down to the quay and swimming area – you can gut your fish right by the lake.

In the cabin you’ll find a folder with clear guidelines for the hot tub and lots of tips for great hikes in the area. Famous hikes like Preikestolen (about 45 km away) and Kjerag (about 160 km) are within reach for a memorable day trip. Backpacks are available in the house, so you can head out prepared.

In winter, you can go alpine skiing in Røldal (approx. 300 km) or explore the illuminated cross-country trails in Årdal/Lyngshei (approx. 30 km). There’s parking for several cars and the option to charge an electric car; electricity for charging is paid as regular electricity use. Rubbish can easily be dropped in a container by the main road.
