Very nice reception, although I arrived late. Late check-in was no problem at all. The place is very empty in November, but very pretty with the colorful foliage. The sanitary facilities are new and clean. You can walk to the bus and into town in a few minutes.

Hello, just a few lines to describe this rather dubious campsite, with everyone passing the buck. It's always the other guy's fault, the manager's excuse. Mr Loïc CORDUAN, I wasn't the one on duty that day or evening, so I'm going to pass on the information so that it doesn't happen again. Please excuse us, always the same kind of excuse, but often the same kind of excuse repeated on our arrival. The Chalet had not been cleaned by the cleaners, the floor stuck underfoot. The kitchen was greasy. The fridge was very dirty. The beds weren't made and the smell of cooking mixed with tobacco made me and my family nauseous. The next day I asked for a change of Chalet, which was granted. Their excuse was that the chalet had not been thoroughly cleaned. That evening we decided to go and eat somewhere on our way back to the campsite, only to find that the 2 m high metal gate was locked with a padlock and the wicket gate was also locked. I find myself outside at 11.30pm with my wife and children. An on-call number was noted on the gate, but of course, after a dozen consecutive calls, no one answered. The decision was made for me, my wife and my children to go under the gate to get into the bungalow we had rented for a week at a cost of €700. We left today at midday, arriving home at 7:30 p.m. I opened my mailbox to find that I'd received an e-mail telling me it was my turn to clean the bungalow. This task not having been carried out by our care, we have the pleasure to pay in addition to 700 € a fine of 90 € for the cleaning. And yes, my friends, it's up to us to pay the cleaners at this campsite. I'll pass on to you a few more pretty adventures in the City campsite in Lyon, which has nothing to do with camping. In fact, I liken it to a penal colony. When you see that at 11pm you can't get in or out of the campsite. It's a bit frightening. You don't have to have a heart condition or any particular health problem, because the evening we were stuck outside. No one could get in or out, either on foot or by car, and no one answered the phone. In other words, in the event of an emergency, neither the ambulance service, nor the fire department, nor the gendarmerie would have been able to enter the campsite that evening, and I'm still coming back to the same thing. Always the same excuses in this campsite: it's always the other guy's fault. It's never the fault of the people concerned with pretty messages of apology and with each negative comment, after having read a few comments, the song repeats itself it's always the same serenade from the boss. We're really sorry, we'll do our best next time" is their apology for anyone wishing to have an experience at the City Camp de Lyon campsite. Today I'd say welcome to the penal colony. All that's missing are the striped outfits.

Air conditioning not allowed !!! Unfortunately I have to edit my recession. On the return journey, stopover in Lyon as usual (the 8th time) we were kindly asked to turn off the air conditioning or we would be cut off !!!! A neighbor complained and we were the stupid ones. It was only 23:25 / 31°, but no tolerance! That was probably the last stopover at Camping de Lyon ! ---------------------- Perfect as a stopover! We use this campsite as a stopover for one night on the way to Spain. We book online during the trip or give them a quick call. The location is ideal, close to the highway. The price is right too. The staff are friendly. Cleanliness is also ok for a stopover.

Personal freundlich. Sauberkeit ist auch ok für einen Zwischenstopp.

Nice campsite in Lyon with good public transport connections. You can order baguettes and croissants in the morning and the croissants were very tasty. The sanitary facilities are clean. We were there to see Lyon and it's perfect for that.
